I thoroughly enjoyed all the girls performances, the divas are really great this season!

My bottom 3 for the night -
Phil (Worst for the night)
Sanjaya (Wasn't that bad compared to Phil's performance)
Blake (His performance was "just there", not much of a surprise at all)

My top 3 for the night -
Melinda (AMAZING!)
Jordin (I like how the way she sang the song!)
Haley (Yes, i was really surprised i like her performance. There was a bit of cheek to it and her vocals were great somehow!)

I have to emphasize on the fact that i really love Melinda, Chris, Gina, Hayley and Jordin's performances alot! I'm not a huge fan of Lakisha because her performance can sometimes be too "overwhelming".

Man, for once, I predicted the bottom 3 correctly! Lol. Gina's departure wasn't a shocker, but I was really sad. Throughout the season, she had begun to grow on me and I actually rather like her. True, she doesn't have POWERHOUSE vocals like our three divas Jordin, Lakisha and Melinda. However, she does have kinda a good voice and her performance wasn't too bad. She's got her own style! I wish she could have stayed on... =( I'd much rather have Phil leave. Phil hasn't been improving much and his performances week after week are just not up to standard. Haley wasn't too bad, I'm glad she's given yet another chance. As for Sanjaya... I'm not shocked anymore that he's safe. I guess we should be glad that he isn't in the top 3. Goes to show he doesn't receive THAT MANY votes, so he'll go soon, I'm sure. I trust America! Lol. Oh, I'm glad that Chris did well last night! Loved his contemporary touch to the jazz.

The results were fine with me I guess.I like Chris, hope he can stick around for at least a little longer.

Anyways, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if Sanjaya and his sister show up on the 13th season of TAR. Lips Sealed

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's hilarious. But you never know. Sanjaya may not be able to sing, but he may be great at mountain scaling.

Here's a history of the VFTW contestants:

Season 5 they were voting for Kellie Pickler - Eliminated at 6th place.

Season 4 they were voting for Scott Savol - Eliminated at 5th place.

Season 3 they were voting for John Sevens - Eliminated at 6th place.

The ones I've listed above have been the ones they have focused a lot on. Often they vote for one or two during the pre-topten episodes and then settle on someone else for the topten episodes. Also, when their primary contestant is gone, they will focus on a different contestant they consider to be the next worst singer.

According to Wiki, here's a list of the all contestants they have encouraged people to vote for in the past for at least one week:

I'm with you on that, Popo. Kellie Pickler wasn't good, but she wasn't TOO bad. Sanjaya is just...... I do not know what to say.

Kellie Pickler isn't that bad, and when I looked on the VFTW site they openly admitted she wasn't that bad, but their ultimate point is to ruin the AI show, and they felt a blonde country singer winning twice in a row would be bad for the show trying to market their artists in the long run. Basically they were attempting to look at the bigger picture when it came to Kellie. They posted a lot of slanderous remarks about her from people who supposedly knew her and other stuff that showed she was not an honest person. For example, her comment about never really singing in front of people before - they had verified she won a local singing contest and sang regularly at a local karaoke bar, so that was not a true statement from her, they had a few things like that up. She wasn't the worst singer, but they felt she was the worst contestant. I'm not saying I agree with them, I'm simply reiterating what they had posted.
