Our Driving Records

How long have you had your license? Since I was 16 and then I had a wreck each year thereafter until I was 18.

Have you had a speeding ticket ? Yes, and only a few years ago on the way to an Auburn football game. I drank heavily after that. At the game, I mean.

Parking Ticket ? Nope.

My very first ticket: At Auburn, I learned how to stop properly at a stop sign and have never forgotten it.

Ever driven drunk or had a DUI? Embarassed

I am NOT going into what happened at the Burger King many years ago.

Have you had a speeding ticket ? Yes, a fair few, although not any in years..I don't really speed anymore. Course I'm driving without a license and I don't want to get pulled over, so why speed and draw attention to myself? I am at least insured, however. Wink

Parking Ticket ? Plenty.

My very first ticket: 2 hours after I got my license a huge bug flew in the window and was flying around in the car while my best friend was screaming. I jerked my head to see what was going on and being an inexperienced driver, jerked the wheel with it and nailed 2 parked cars.

Ever driven drunk or had a DUI? Never had a DUI and has been years and years since I last drove drunk, but yes in my younger years I have done so.

Parking Ticket ? only the generic ones at UTK for not having the proper parking permit

My very first ticket: Driving with a misplaced licsence after being pulled over for a burnt headlight. Went to court, paid 65 dollars. Guy in front of me was in court for 3rd offense driving without a liscense. He paid 75 dollars. What a court system.

Ever driven drunk or had a DUI? No DUIs. Have driven drunk, I'm glad that my angel was sober and on duty. My wife drives even if I have had one drink (peace of mind is priceless)

I've had my license since I was 19, already married, for my Dad was afraid if I had a license I would have an accident. Thankfully, so far, I've never been in a bad accident Grin

Tickets, I'm not even going there with this one for I certainly don't remember the first one. My foot used to contain lead!

Rhune, have you had that many speeding tickets? Lips Sealed

DIU, probably, but I didn't get stopped. That was years ago and I've always been the designated driver, single or married Roll Eyes

You guys are funny mine is vry good now but 20 years ago well judge for yourself

5 Drunk driving arrest
3 Serious accidents (both while drunk) 1 resulted in eye damage that took three surgeries to fix and a broken hand one other accident that broke some ribs
3 minor tickets speeding,headlights,registrastion
Had some other minor accidents with no injuries again while drunk lol
Bright note Father's Day the 20th marks 18 years sober for me

Have you had a speeding ticket ? Yes, in my first few years of driving I had a few, then realized just how expensive that was...dangerous as well(I still have to watch myself, I guess old habits die hard)

Parking Ticket ? many in University...I might have a couple outstanding Tickets in Washington State(note to self..take care of that asap Shocked

)

DUI none now my husband can answer yes to all but the DUI (cause he didnt get caught)..lol kathy

Have you had a speeding ticket ? No, but I should have one. I was speeding to work in my little green car and there was another green car behind me. I saw a cop sitting behind some bushes and realized I was in some trouble. Then I saw the lights and I pulled over. The other green car pulled over in front of me and the cop stopped them. Embarassed

Ever driven drunk or had a DUI? I'm not old enough to legally drink...but when I do drink with friends we take the keys away, so I dont drive.

Accidents? I was in a little, itty bitty accident. It was the first time I had driven in snow without my parents in the car and I hit some ice. I was crawling at about 4 mph when I just bumped into this guy. Fortunately, there was no damage to his car and he drove away without telling hte cops or anything. Cool

But, he had a trailer hitch that left quite the dent in my car! Oh well, nobody was hurt at least!

Have you had a speeding ticket ? yes, on a highway, i, and many others, were caught by a helicopter overhead which radioed to cops positioned below. i was at least a decade younger at the time.

Parking Ticket ? yup, and i had paid all except one.

My very first ticket: said ticket from previous question.

Ever driven drunk or had a DUI? nope (my father is an alcoholic and i think this has put me off it. being in the car with him as a child while he had been drinking, even small amounts, helped me to make a choice then.)

Accidents? yes, two major ones. one 90% not my fault but i was alone and the witnesses were relatives of the other party and they lied in court. the second was 60% my fault (i made the left hand turn and couldn't see the speeding truck...i still have soft tissue damage) and i have ridden the bus ever since.

as well, my driver's license has been outdated for a year now. i may renew it in a bit, if i need it. or maybe not. Wink
