I have been doing a Daddy/Daughter dance with my daughter for the last 3 years. She always looks forward to this time and I do as well.
 
Here are some pics from this year. We did something different this year with the Girl Scouts. Not as much fun as the first two years but we still had fun together.
 
I just can't believe how much she is growing.
 
Guess her age and height and win a cookie.   Grin

I'm guessing 8.5-9 years old and 4'3".  I'm also guessing she's a third grader.

By Jove, I finally got it Cool  Great pictures Borad, I know yo are one proud Dad Grin
 
I will say 8-9 yrs and about 4' tall.  How off am I Huh Roll Eyes
 
Enjoy her now, you'll blink and be walking her down the aisle to some ole hairy legged boy that you won't know, or how he will treat your precious daughter.

She turned 8 in December and is 4'9" and in second grade. Most people think she is in thrid or fourth due to her hieght and the fact she acts very mature for her age. So far she has been blessed with her mothers good looks and my height. Perfect combo in my mind.
 
My wife has gone to those sites where you plug in the kids height and her projected height is 6'. Now if I can only get her interested in basketball.  Grin

Borad, I went to father-daughter dances until I was a senior in high school.  And later, my father would take me out for dinner about once a year, for our special date
These times our etched in my memory, and our among my favorite.

Our Son-in-Law goes with the granddaughter.  The older one is too grown up now, which makes him feel sad!.  My daughter buys her a dressy dress and she thinks she is so grown up.  Her Daddy melts!  And the corsage, what a night they have!
 
He also makes chocolate chip cookies on Sunday and the three kids are ont he bar stools waiting for them to come out of the oven.  My daughter stays out of the kitchen for she says this is a memory they wil have with their Dad.  We agree!
 
Borad, do you have a basketball goal?  Get one and work with her and she might surprize you!  Did you see "Father of The Bride"?  Such a sweet movie!
