The Party with the Survivors!

The Survivor Party was AWESOME!!!! Words cannot describe the fun of it or the magnitude of it.

Everywhere you turned there was a survivor.

Here is the list of all of the survivors who were present:

From S1: Gervace

From S2: Mike Skupin, Alicia, Rodger, Gerri, Amber, Mitchell, Keith Famie, Tina, Kimmi, Debb

From S3: Clarence, Big Tom, Lex, Lindsey

From S4: Gabe, Hunter, Gina, Robert (The General), Boston Rob, Neleh, and Paschal

Debb is very bitter.  Sad I talked to her for awhile and she is just really really bitter  It was kind of sad, but Mr. Kramer said maybe thats just her "stick" now.

Gervace really kept a low profile, he has been at this for awhile now so maybe he is just getting burned out.

Keith Famie is one of THE NICEST people I have ever met. Mike Skupin is THE NICEST person I have ever met.

Alicia was pumped up. She is so totally buffed out and she was there to pump up the crowd. You can tell she loves doing this sort of stuff. She is also very sweet.

Rodger was very quiet and hung out at the frindge of the crowd, he is very nice to talk to.

Gerri is still the most hated Survivor (the crowd boo'd her) but fella's, she looked HOT! She has blonde hair now and a body to kill for. She is also very gracious and very fun loving and actually very likeable in person.

Amber is still the most "hidden" survivor, hell, I didn't even know she was at the party until after the show when Mike Skupin started doing the auction and introduced her  But whoa, she is by far, the best looking Survivor female. Mr. Kramer had about 10 pictures taken with her (sigh).   Roll Eyes

Mitchell is hysterical. He got on stage and sang this song that he made up, it was sooooo funny. I wish we could get the words somewhere for everyone, but one line from the song that I do remember was: "How many survivors does it take to screw in a light bulb? Well, it only took three to screw me!"   Grin I LMAO during his song. What a great sense of humor he has.

Everyone loved Tina (believe it or not, I was not a big fan of Tina) but I did talk to her and she is all "down homey" sweet  She took her shoes off in the bar and walked around barefoot (which I thought was kinda gross since the bar is such a gross place) but it just showed how "at home" she seems to be everywhere. She was a really nice person and I am glad I did meet her.

Kimmi is still kimmi, just kinda "there" and she got picked on by the other survivors that night for how she smelled, LOL

Clarence, our home town boy, got harrassed all night about that can of beans (I started to actually feel sorry for him). Even I asked him, "so tell me Clarence, what does a million dollar can of beans taste like?" and he said "Aww, come on now, don't be that way"  and we both laughed.   Grin

Big Tom is the same as on the show. He mumbles, you don't know what the hell he is saying. He did a dance, it was hysterical. At the end of the night, he had lipstick prints on his face (that was sweet). He was dressed in his jean coveralls and straw hat. He is really a nice fun loving guy.

Lex is a great guy in person. His hair was spiked and the tips were died blue. He looks just the same in person as he did on Survivor. I asked him about the band, The Lucky Dog, and he said he doesn't have much time to play anymore, that his family is more important to him and so he has pretty much given up the Lucky Dog, except as a hobby. Great guy to talk to.

I didn't see Lindsey until she got on stage and started whining about how everyone only remembers her as a whiner, cryer, survivor with a tick on her ass. Hmmm....yep, shes right.

Gabe made me very sad, he seemed to not want to be seen. He stood at the edge of everything and blended in. Mr. Kramer talked to him for quite awhile and said he was a really nice, but painfully shy guy.

Hunter is a cutie, but he is somewhat of a player, like Boston Robb. The two of them spent most of their night seeking out the ladies who wanted their breasts autographed  I did get a picture with both  Lips Sealed  but no autographs

Gina is a sweetheart. She is truly beautiful and kind and funny. She had a crowd around her constantly and you had to wait to get to talk to her.

The General was one of the most down to earth survivors. He is this huggable, loveable guy. Just the real deal. He reminded me of the "brother in law" type when you have a really awesome brother in law. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor.

Neleh and Paschal were a huge hit with EVERYONE. They mingled with the crowd together and were as sweet as can be. Neleh does make you feel like you know her, she is very friendly. Paschal just follows her like he knows shes the star and he's happy being the sidekick, lol. It is sweet and they are both supernice people.

Now, about the new survivors! My gawd!!!! They are a scarey bunch. That Helen looks and acts like a total bitch from hell (pardon my french) and why on earth did John get the boot? What did I miss? I didn't even see anything bad about him, I was shocked!!! The General and I spoke about it afterwards and he said the same exact thing. We must have missed something during all of the commotion.   :punch:

From Survivor Addicts:  TigerLily is a DOLL! She is truly a wonderful and sweet person. It was such a pleasure to meet her and spend the evening with her. Detroit is not a glamourous city to be in, but I hope she had fun and enjoyed her visit.

From Survivor Addicts: Of course I have met Gabby and tcroom129 in the past. They are still the same wonderful ladies. I adore them both. It was a pleasure to meet tcnoroom and these three ladies leave me wondering how three such nice people can work in one single place. No wonder they love their school so much.

Well, thats it for now, I have work to do today. I will try to get my 3 rolls of film in and get the pics on CD so I can post them.

There are so many pictures, I hope that they all turn out ok.

thanks Kramer.  I just got off the phone with TigerLily.  She's at the Detroit bus station waiting to come home.

She had a wonderful time and we are planning to watch the show on Saturday night (repeat) together at her place.

TigerLily has some 'surprises' for me.  Can't wait Wink

I am so glad you had such a great time Kramer.  How incredible to meet people you have only known over the internet.

Did you ever mention to any of the survivors that you won LOS!

Kramer you are very photogenic.  I love the pic with Mr. Kramer and Amber.

You and big Tom - that's one for the screensaver.

So glad you had such a wonderful time.

How much many did Mike make for charity?  any idea?

What did they auction off?

thanks for the kind words addams, I, too love the pic of Mr. Kramer and Amber.  Actually, I am not photogenic and look quite awful in those pics. I am letting my bangs grow and my hair is at that god awful length of stringiness. I hope I have the patience to make it through.

Regardless, the night was AWESOME.  Big Tom on my screen save would probably make me laugh every day, but I am thinking more along the lines of Boston Robb (hubba hubba).  I had my pic taken with Hunter, but Mr. Kramer cut poor Hunters head off (sigh).

Mike had to raise ALOT of $$.  There were 700 people according to the news report, 100 of them at $100 apiece and the other 600 at $25.  So he raised a good $50000.00 just in ticket sales.

They auctioned off all kinds of things.  Having Keith Famie come to your house to cook a dinner went for $1100.00.

Pics of Amber and an autographed copy of her in Stuff mag.

Big Tom TShirts, mugs.

Characatures of the Survivors.

Survivor buffs from Clarence.

Signed books by Jeff Probst.

All sorts of autographed survivor stuff.

A television set signed by all the survivors, donated by TV Guide.

So much stuff, it was unbelievable.

We left before the end of the auction as TigerLily looked beat (and we gave her a ride back to her hotel) and my legs were very sore and Mr. Kramer had to get up early for work today. (I am lucky and work from home on Fridays).

Tiger Lily just called and said that she is back in Toronto.  She called from the bus just as they were heading into the city.  Sounds like she had a great time.
