Now this looks like a job for Detroit,
So everyone, just follow Steve,
'Cause we need another cup, can't you see,
'Cause it feels so empty without Stanley!

Here is the Limo that was driving the Survivors. I passed it on the expressway heading Downtown Detroit!

That is about it, I don't want to post the TCRooms without their permission. If they say yes, then I have a few more good pics to post.  Hope you enjoyed them!

'Survivor' alumni camp out in Detroit
Nearly 700 fans jam downtown nightclub, mingle with cast members

DETROIT -- The scene is crowded at Space, where two dozen former "Survivor" cast members are greeting fans and hugging one another.
Everyone is gathered in the Motor City to reunite for a charity adventure and celebrate the new season of the CBS reality television show "Survivor: Thailand." "Stop it! That's Jerri?" said Survivor fan Diana Reibeling, a 37-year-old mother of three from Webberville as Jerri Manthey takes the stage at Space.
Reibeling is a die-hard fan, hooked from the start on the show that prompts contestants to match wits and strength in the wilderness for a $1 million prize.
At first she didn't recognize Manthey, the sharp-tongued aspiring actress from the Australian Outback episode, without her curly, dark hair.
Reibeling was among the nearly 700 fans who paid $25-$35 to mingle with "Survivor" alumni at the Congress Street nightclub. The fans have White Lake software publisher Mike Skupin to thank for the reunion.
Skupin, whose famous burned hand in "Survivor Australia" ended his bid for the prize, lured 24 former "Survivors" into Detroit for a three-day weekend of charity events and get-togethers, ranging from lunch with Detroit's own "Survivor" chef Keith Famie at Intermezzo restaurant to a golf outing for charity.
"This is awesome!" Reibeling said as she combed the crowd at Space for other "Survivor" stars.
"There's Big Tom!" Sure enough, Tom Buchanan, the hulking, folksy Southern star of "Survivor: Africa," showed up in a straw hat and overalls and let everyone know he was having a blast. "I was shoveling cow manure for $5 an hour. Now I'm hugging women and kissing babies for $250 an hour," he said, stopping to have a picture taken with a female fan.
Besides Buchanan, "Survivor: Australia" winner Tina Wesson was soaking in the new "Survivor" characters on the television screen.
Wesson, who bought a new house in Tennessee with her $1 million, now serves as a spokeswoman for Arthritis Foundation. "We went on a bad camping trip is all we did," she said. "Survivor Africa's" Lex Van Den Berghe, "Survivor: Marquesas" Gina Crews and others were quickly engrossed in the first episode of the new show.
"It looks like it's going to be interesting," said Roger Bingham, the mild-mannered Kentucky teacher from the Outback episode. He has taken a two-year leave of absence from his industrial arts classes.
Earlier Thursday, Famie borrowed a section of Intermezzo owner and friend Nick Apone's kitchen to prepare a reunion luncheon featuring Valencia Paella, an adventurous seafood dish consisting of lobster, chicken, chorizo and rice. Hunter Ellis, Rob Mariano and Robert DeCanio from "Survivor Marquesas" were at the Detroit restaurant in Harmonie Park, along with "Survivor Africa's" Clarence Black of Detroit and "Survivor: Australia" alumni Skupin, Debb Eaton and Alicia Calaway. And of course, Manthey, who once insisted Famie couldn't cook rice.
Showing off her acting prowess, Manthey studied her first bite, put her index finger to her lip and pondered the flavor of the dish. "Very nice," she said. "This time he got it right. It's very good."
   Famie grinned.
"It's been almost two years, and what we went through in the Outback was kind of a magical time," said Famie, who now lives in Novi. "When you watch it, you understand what's going on behind the scenes." Today, the "Survivor" alumni group is off to a Grand Blanc golf outing to raise money for Skupin's Victory Over Addiction charity for at-risk youth.
On Saturday, they'll be challenging high school kids in Walled Lake and Grand Blanc to sports competitions, with a bug-eating contest thrown in.
"The only thing I didn't promise them was any sleep," Skupin said.

How cool is that!  He just might be your neighbor!

Thanks for all the pictures - sounds like it was a blast!  Did they say how much money it earned for Mike's charity?  It is so awesome to see the casts from various shows come together for a good cause - a great way to use their fame.
