I agree that Rupert seems to be a genuine guy, but that doesn't necessarily make him the best Survivor All Star, in my opinion.

The CBS.com web site has these words:
"America, You Decide! Who deserves to win the extra million dollars?"

It leaves it up to each individual to vote for whomever he/she thinks deserves the extra million...for whatever reason the individual deems worthy. It was up to the Survivor jury to decide who outlasted, outwitted, and outplayed. I, however, can vote based on my own criteria.

If my memory serves me correct .. Rupert played the game too. He broke alliances, mislead others, talked behind other's backs and voted his friends off.

It seems like his game strategy (and perhaps his life strategy too) is to play the victim -- recall his schpeel about how he was picked on in the school yard and his "poor me" speech when he was voted off.

My point is, he played the game using whatever strategy he did .. but he still played the game.

Well I have a feeling that Rupert will win the moment Jeff announced it. He seem to got a solid fan base... but if you ask me, he is just too overrated, that much I agree with Lex. For me, Rudy is more deserving. He got as much integrity, if not better, and he is always funny in almost anything he says, and Hell, he is a true hero.

Of course, I also like Rob C. to win since he is one of my favorite players... so its either him or Rudy.

i am waivering between four survivors ~ rupert (of course), rob c. (becuase of the comments made at the last finale about rob's intelligence, he had a big mark on his back imnsho), shii ann (for attempting to shake things up before she left) and kathy (for somewhat the same reasons).

Rupert said that he could use the money for his family (wife, daughter, and mom specifically) and for his mentoring program that he is starting for troubled teens. That was pretty much the gist.

Jenna L. said she figured most people would vote for Rupert and she thought they should. She said she felt bad for stabbing him in the back.

Tina said she didn't want or need the money.

Jenna M. said Rob C. asked her to speak out to give the money to him. She said if given to her, she would give it to breast cancer research.

Rudy said he would give it to his kids because he doesn't like people asking him for money. Then he could just tell them to ask his kids.

Amber said two million would be nice.

Rob M. said he deserved it for the way he dominated the game.

Nobody else stood out enough for me to really remember. I hope I have gotten these right...I feel like I did.

I even put a post on my forum that said even if you dont watch surviver can you go to cbs.com and give rupert a vote anyway he deserves the $$. wouldn't it just be cool for the guy who grew up shy and got picked on to suddenly be americas favorite? I met Kathy and Tom..they both said the same thing..Rupert is a great guy but he had no clue what he was doing out there..he allowed Jenna to tell him what to do the whole time. If Rupert hadn't had her aid, he would never have gotten so far.

I think it says a lot about Amber that she asked for the extra million because $2m is better than $1m ... meanwhile Ethan, Jenna and Tina all said they didn't need the money and would donate it all to charity.

I think it's a long shot .. but it would be nice to see one of them actually win it and help out a charity in a big way.

When asked who was the ultimate survivor? Ruperts says
" I feel like Rudy, at 76, is the Ultimate Survivor?"

When asked who he will keep in touch with?
"Rudy and I will always keep in touch; I have a good friend in Rudy. The other unlikely character in the group that I do enjoy company with is Boston Rob. I feel like he and I will be friends for many years to come".

When asked about what he will do for his future career? (still gonna mentor? lol)
" I am in negotiations with a few cable networks to try and get my own show. I am also doing the super-model challenge with the Texas Bikini Team at the Venetian in Vegas this summer that will be on cable. I will be one of the judges. I want to be on TV more; hopefully, that will be my new career".
