This season's final 4 editing is very similiar to the Palau F4, IMO:
Lydia = Jenn
Rafe = Ian
Steph = Steph
Danni = Tom

Lydia's been almost as invisible as Jenn was on season 10, she was only heavily featured during episodes 2, 3 and 11, and as a matter of fact she did not have a single confessional this week.
Rafe has played the game with his heart and he has dealt with moral dilemmas just like Ian did, both of them won many individual immunities and both of them received their very first vote on at the final 5 (I know, who cares). Both of them portrayed as the good cop, as Batman's Robin.
Stephenie's burned just as many bridges as Katie did back in Palau. None of them have been liked by their respective juries.
Danni is this season's Tom. Editing-wise, not as in-your-face as he was, but we've only seen the good stuff about her.

I think Danni and Rafe will stick to their "final two" alliance. All they have to do is get Lydia to vote with them to out Stephenie. I think Steph's final three would be her, Danni and Rafe... if Danni and Rafe can convince Lydia of this.. she'll go with them to out Steph. Then, unless by some Mayan miracle Lydia wins final immunity, Rafe and Danni are guaranteed final two.

As for who will win, I'm going with Danni... and the vote this way...

Gary - Danni
Bobby Jon - Danni
Judd - Danni (he's still angry at the "alliance" for booting him out)
Cindy - Rafe
Stephenie - Rafe
Lydia - Rafe

So, it comes down to Jamie, who like Judd, I think will let his anger do his voting and he'll vote for Danni...

Either way, I'll be happy. I think both of them have played a good game.. I'd even be ok with Lydia winning just because it would serve all the others right for how crappy they've treated her! As long as Steph goes next, I'm happy... I just don't think she should win.

How does Steph "deserve" it? What's your criteria? She hasn't won anything individually until this week & her flipping on alliances & overlording over the rest of them just can't be fostering any goodwill. I think she could do it by taking Lydia with her, but that means she's got to win that last immunity. It's for all the marbles.

& I don't know why but I'm getting this sick feeling in my gut that Lydia is going to win an immunity. Hopefully it's just nerves getting the best of me... Our local high school football team is playing for the state championship this evening.

Oh, & IMHO Cindy had a number of opportunities to change her fortune all along the way. She could have swung over to the Gary/Danni alliance on more than one occasion & then the decision with the car... even if it giving the others doesn't guarantee you the $1mil, keeping one for yourself certainly guarantees you the boot... Cindy "deserves" to be out now. I really thought Cindy had potential in the beginning, but she's let me down.

I'm predicting a Danni win, but I should also say that Steph deserves to win for dodging the bullets SINCE DAY 1. Jeff pointed out to the castaways in Day 1 that the returning players can be an easy boot, but she wasn't voted off. She's reached the Final 4 by forming alliances (although she's ruining her end game a bit) and manipulating people. If she wins, she deserve it.

IMO, burning the bridge with each jury member doesn't make you a winner.

I agree lakelady. Outwitting doesn't necessarily mean flipping on every alliance when someone asks you to. Self-preservation is a much harder game to play when you don't have the numbers & Steph had the numbers even down to the final 3... Much unlike last season.

Isn't nice to see everyone come back for the finale? I was happy to see Amy, Brandon, Jim & Brian again.

Besides IMO Steff was nowhere near the better player. She gets plopped into a tribe that want nothing more than to sit around and gaze at the "golden girl" of Survivor past. She had the numbers on her side from day 3.

Then we meet our castaways at the merge and low and behold Steff is in the majority, na leading the majority. And she is called the better player.

Steph: A huge target since Day 1, but she played well, and that got her very far. Too bad she had to do the dirty work.

Danni: Was in a vulnerable position during the merge. Buying the immunity clue at the auction was the best move she has done, and from then she managed to play her cards well.

This is what i thought the voting should be....

Anyway... it's really cool to have Steph and Danni in the final 2.

Stephenie played her game, working on alliance, backstab people to go on further in the game and ultimately turns out in the final 2. Even if she didn't win it, i think i respected her game now.

Danni has been a strong player since day 1, even after the merge, no one seems to think of her as a threat, which i think the members of the evil of axis must be regretting now. Danni is smart to make use of Rafe's "special" behaviour to her and bring him into an alliance. She was on the chopping board on the final 6 but that immunity clue she brought was the best move she had made in the game. She was also going to be voted out at the final 5, but Cindy winning the reward challenge saved her neck. Steph was thinking of voting out Danni at final 4, yet Danni already had an alliance with Rafe, which Steph could do nothing about it than to vote out Lydia. At the final 3, Danni perservered and win the immunity challenge, actually all of us can guess at that point of time who's going to win this season already. I think i was screaming and dancing when she won that immunity. It really secured her that million bucks. Danni outlast, outplay and outwit all the others, she's a real sole survivor. I think she's my favourite Survivor in all seasons.

I only started watching Survivor since last season. But i wasn't really into it at all, i don't care if i miss episodes or anything.. so this season is the one i started to get crazy over.
