Episode 14: Thunder Storms and Sacrifice

SEASON FINALE SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11, 8PM ET/PT

A surprise from a local family quickly shakes up the Final Four in a traditional Maya ceremony. Later, a surprise thunderstorm sets the Survivors wondering if a decision they made upset the Maya gods.

Two Survivors question their alliance and agree on who should be eliminated. Will this decision work to their advantage?

With only three days left, the Final Four face off in an intense battle to make it to the end. Who will outwit, outlast and outplay to be become the Sole Survivor?

I am a little late w/ this response, but I am appallled at the fact the 3 gals ate the sacrificial chicken. Stephanie had been grating on my nerves for the last few weeks, but that was the straw that broke the camels back. Lost all respect for ppl that do not respect other's cultures.
Rafe should have won.

But... if you were on Survivor, and hadn't ate much for 37 days (will except Steph, nice question btw Judd) you'd probably have ate the chicken too!

I so agree with you toshiko. There was no respect with Danni, Lydia and Steph. They should have NOT ate that chicken. First off, it is a religous no no, second they only had 2 more days to go. Shame on them. Cry

I think the scene where all of them pondered whether to eat that chicken was funny. Especially with Steph nudging Lydia and wants her to ask the people whether they can eat the chicken.

I think Steph was dead hungry and everything, but again... i would not have chosen to eat it just like Rafe, it's just like the whole ceremony will be pointless. But theni can understand why the 3 hungry women ate that chicken, Lydia explained it best at the Tribal Council, and i respected their decision.

I couldn't believe the girls ate the chicken, I was horrified. They knew it was a sacrifice to the Mayan gods so they shouldn't have done it; plus, they DID eat that day, because the people who performed the sacrifice gave them tamales. Still, I laughed so hard when they tried to explain it to Jeff that night at tribal council.

My perception of Rafe changed 100%. His "moral radar" cost him the game; plus, he had a sense of entitlement that I didn't appreciate at all. He was very bitter during the final 2 TC.
On the other hand, after the last episode and the reunion show I like Lydia a lot more now, she's such a nice lady and she never gave up, I mean, during her last IC she was so glad just because she had found all the puzzle pieces right before Rafe won.

For the first time since the Pearl Islands I was happy with the final 2 and didn't care who won 'cause I was rooting for both of them.

ITA Stephenie is the best, I was actually cheering her on in the final immunity challenge. Stephenie is probably one of my favorite player of all times.
