The website has been updated!

Aras wins SURVIVOR! Whee! It's 2 in a row for me! Although i really hope it's Cirie in the final 2, but i knew there was no hope for Cirie at all... and the moment Cirie loses the challenge, i knew who i was rooting for. It's Aras.

Right from day 1 i've been rooting for Aras and i picked him as my pre-season favourite and predicted him as the winner. Looks like it's true afterall.

Aras deserves to win! Gooo Aras!

I believe all challenges are pre-determined. Last season final ic favoured taller people, this challenge favoured women, vanuatu's favoured men.

Thanks Danielle for bringing Aras to final 2, the season would have been ruined if she bring Terry.

Either way she knows she will lose.

But bringing Terry is like, unless she wants to see a 7-0 vote straight in her face.

But with Aras, i think she knows that Aras had played the same game as her and even backstabbed a few people as well. Hence i feel that Danielle has definitely make the right choice and make her lose looks "sweeter".

But i feel that she should have just thrown away that IC, either way one of them is going to bring her to the final 2 anyway, so what for? By winning the IC, she even have to make a choice between 2 people and lose yet another Jury vote. Sigh.. she just blew her game by winning that IC.

But hey, that's the best Final 2 i can expect when Cirie's gone, and i'm not complaining! Since Aras WON!! Grin

Sorry guys, I forgot about that East Coast / West Coast time thing.  It had already aired here on the east coast.  That's what I get for having a TV sitting here on the computer desk.  Hope I didn't ruin it for anyone.

Uhm no. Her number one supporter was Bruce. He would have voted for her whoever she brought to the Final 2.

Aras is the worst male Survivor winner in my opinion. He didn't do any power moves, not even to save himself. He left it all to Cirie.

To my mind, most of the challenges were geared toward men's strength.  In another website, we were discussing how few mental challenges there were to allow the weaker ones to compete longer.

I agree Pocket. I had been thinking the same thing for quite a while. Usually there were more mental challenges after the merge. I think that the production team was so excited about having more latitude in their challenges after Guatamala that they went a little overboard.

That's why Terry won so many Immunity Challenges and put the idol into play.

It's so disappointing, the Hidden Immunity Idol is supposed to act as a surprise this season, yet it was not even used at all!

Exisle, you don't get the point...There are 8 sections dedicated to Survivor. There is one for Spoilers to for General Gosip and more..If your going to make posts like Bumper did then it needs to be in the Spoiler section until the site has been updated.
All the Moderators and Rhune have stressed this so many times..There's a reason why we have 8 sections for one show. Wink

I'm sorry to be a downer here. But Aras and Danielle are the least deserving to win imo.

What have either of them done to deserve a spot in the final 2?

Cirie I can see and Terry I can see.  But Aras or Danielle?

Thoughts please.   Smiley

I agree lakelady! I love seeing Danielle in a swimsuit, but Cirie and Terry played better than her or Aras. Aras was carried by Cirie and wouldn't even be there if not for her. A Cirie/Terry Final 2 would have been the best finish in a game. On one side Cirie played the ultimate social game, the mother of the Casayas, most of whom are in the Jury. On the other side we have Terry, the "enemy" of the Casayas, who survived each TC until the end. That will certainly divide the votes up and it would be interesting to see who'd win.

I have to say it.

Of ALL the various Survivor series, this Exile Island, and more directly, that last Imnuity Challenge involving Aras, Danielle, and Terry . . . .

. . . . was the most transparent in terms of manipulation by the show's Producers and staff!

The staff of that show wanted Danielle in the final and the way to do it was a "balance test".  I think there's a good body of evidence that shows that women have a lower center of gravity and almost always do better than their male counterparts.

I definitely feel that they did their best to manipulate the outcome that they felt would generate the best TV.

Okay, I see this sort of, but I have to disagree.Shouldn't Aras have been excellent, aren't yoga instructors supposed to have really good balance and stuff like that?

I was rooting for Cirie also, once she was gone Aras & Danielle for Final 2!Which they did, and I was happy.I really liked this season, one of my faves especially since my Top 3 made Final Four.Definitely buying this when it comes out on DVD!
Anyways, I know Aras has been my number 2 this entire season after Cirie, but when they were voting I was sort of rooting for Danielle. She definitely answered the questions more truthfully in my opinion, and I felt really bad for her when she lost...looked like she was going to cry.She was really a nice person, actually caring when Aras fell in the end and helping.
Well, I am still happy with the result.Anyways, am I the only one that liked the Exile Island idea?
I don't like the whole hidden Idol thing, but I like the fact that someone gets stranded there for a "penalty" of some sort?I am glad they will be incorporating it into Cook Islands, but with a "NEW HUGE TWIST?" What minor twist will it be this time? Roll Eyes

WOOHOOO!!! This is the first time my season pick since before the show even started won it all!!

A great nervewrecking tie-breaker.

Courtney and Shane seemed pretty calm when posing questions to Aras and Danielle. I really enjoyed Courtney's speech.

Somehow I feel that Danielle did not answer the questions sincerely. She seemed like she just want to please the jury, that's all.

I am hesistant to say that Aras played the game with a lot of integrity, but I think he is very deserving because he worked hard, played hard and fought hard.

Congrats Danielle and Aras for making it to the final 2. My dream finish this season.

Though I dislike Terry, kudos to him for winning 5 immunity challenges, he's now tied with Colby for the record.  Cheesy
