Ok, so now that we don't have Survivor, I decided to catch up on one of the seasons that I have missed. I really thought Marquesas is a boring season, but the first episode is kind of interesting. Maybe it's because I get to see Boston Rob and Kathy pre-All-Stars. Anyway, I think the castaways have interesting personalities. There were tons of confessionals from Sean (maybe it was to lead viewers to believe he'll win). Vecepia had one or two, and she spoke in the first TC.

Another thing I noticed, from the Final 9 Survivors, only Vecepia and Sean were from the original Maraamu! Shocked

So what did you think of this season?

Episode 2:

I can't help but compare Maraamu to Casaya. All the interesting stuffs are coming from Maraamu. Maybe it's because everyone is doomed in that tribe?

Poor Kathy! If they lost just one challenge then she would have been an early boot and won't even be in All-Stars.

Rotu was smart to just flip the boat full of rocks under the water, than pull out rocks one at a time. They deserve that win.

That Immunity Challenge is nasty! There were flies crawling all over the spoiled fish meat!! :gag:

Poor Rob, I didn't know he has a weak stomach. LOL

Speaking of Rob, interesting that he played the same strategy here as in All-Stars: get a girl to team up with that will stick with you through whatever. Two votes are indeed better than one.

And that was an exciting TC when Tricia was voted off. She never expected it. 4-3! wow. So now we're down to couples! Gina/Hunter, V/Sean and Rob/Sarah.

Marquesas is one of the better season, i was rooting for Gina, Tammy and Kathy. Not a fan of Rob and Sean but enjoyed the shit they stirred up, the drama they created. And they had some memorable events, for example Neleh offered the potential jury a mint on her mouth, Kathy peed on John's hand Tongue

I have seen the episode until Gabe's boot. Whoa. That's a shocker. It's like he was so safe last episode, then he got the boot.

Hunter's boot was also shocking. Vee was probably thinking that if she got rid of Sarah, then she'll be next because she'll be the weakest person then.

I love the new Maraamu (Kathy, Neleh, Paschal, Gina). Poor Gina she's next when they lose. Sad

In my opinion, Marquesas was a good season; Maraamu was the very first tribe that just couldn't do well in challenges, and surprisingly enough the winner came from there.

Favorite moments: Tammy winning the stilt-fighting challenge, the unpredictable final 5, 4 and 3 tribal councils, Hunter Ellis.

I can't believe I'm liking this season. I have finished watching the episodes until Sean's boot. He should have kept his mouth shut! I think Kathy was turned off by his attitude.

Nah, I think Kathy had made up her mind long before tribal council, she just kept her mouth shut to cause more drama and tension between Neleh/Pascal and Sean/Vecepia.
