Happy Anniversary to Irishlass and Mr. Irish too.  I hear that there is a dinner and concert tonight - for two.  How romantic.  Enjoy.

Thank you all for your good wishes.  Actually, our anniversary was yesterday, July 17th.  We had a lovely dinner and then went to a concert in the park.  Our daughter is a member of the band and had put a bug in the MC's ear that it was our anniversary............we were wished a "Happy Anniversary" from the stage mid concert.   :singer:  It seems really weird to be celebrating our 37th, I can remember our wedding like it was only last week, time really does have a way of flying by when you are having fun.  Wink Tongue Wink

 I can't believe you asked that question.  He didn't give me DeSoto parts, but he is taking me to the National DeSoto Club convention in the near future as part of our anniversary celebration.  It is being held in Rapid City, SD, so there will be some sightseeing to do, Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, etc.  It should be fun in spite of the DeSotos.  You are so preceptive. Wink

Our favorite year is 1958, that's the year we have.  It has the big fins and really is a beautiful car.  Ours is still in the restoration process, so we were unable to drive it to the convention.  We met a lot of wonderful people and saw a lot of great cars.  We can't wait to get ours finished and are looking forward to next year's convention.  It will be held in Michigan so we won't have so far to travel.

1958 - an excellent year, if I may say so myself Wink

Michigan you say?  I think a little reunion of survivor fans in the Michigan area (i.e. close to the Canadian border too!) may be in order.  Any dates?
