I was just wondering if anyone in the USA would be willing to help me and my hubby get our hands on some DVDS we really want.

There are so many movies we love but unfortunately many are only available in the US on dvd.

I've been told we can order them from several websites however we've also been told that it can be risky as we may not be certain of what we;re getting or even it would turn up once we've paid for it!

My question is.....if I were to send someone some money to cover the cost of the dvd plus postage and maybe a little something from Australia would anyone be willing to buy the dvds in questions and send them to me?

The movies we are aeeking are: The Changling starring George C Scott

Yours, Mine and Ours starring Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda

And the Mini series : Cheifs" starring, charlton heston, keith carradine, brad davis and stephen collins to name a few.

If anyone can help we would very very grateful!!!

Pocket I'm not exactly sure what it means but I do know that we have had to make sure our dvd player will be able to play movies from other regions. We have a multi something or other so we can watch dvds from all over the world. My Mums old dvd player would only allow her to watch movies bought from Australia but we bought her a new one for xmas so now she can enjoy imported movies too!!!

It's like video tapes....VHS tapes from America are different to ones here therefore no VHS tape sent from the USA could be watched on a video player here!!!

I asked my local dvd store as to why there were so many movies that weren't available here and basically it boils down to cost as our classification and censorship is different it apparantly costs alot of money to have movies reclassified etc etc....so if it's not a huge box office hit or a much sought after old movie we just don't get it!!!!
