the new Battlestar Galactica

Has anyone been keeping up with the new Battlestar Galactica?  I think it is one of the best new shows on TV -not much like the original, though, except for the character names.  For instance Starbuck, who was originally played by Dirk Benedict, is now played by a woman -Katee Sackhoff.  The Katee Sackhoff Fan Page at www.sackhoff.com has many pictures from the tv show, for those who haven't seen it yet.  This tv series is dark and thought-provoking, but very interesting to watch!  Rumour has it that NBC is going to show it during the Summer, but I would be interested to see if others have more info.

I was going to watch the first episode and something came up and I missed it.  Is it still on?  When and what network?  I've not seen it listed anywhere...  I loved the old one, course I grew up watching Bonanza, and really liked Lorne Greene, and was "in love" with Dirk Benedict (had that poster of him that was sooooo popular on my bedroom wall back then  Tongue )

The new Battlestar Galactica premiered in January and comes on the SciFi Network at 10:00/Eastern on Fridays.

They showed the pilot on NBC I think. I saw that and liked it a lot. We don't have cable at home so I have been unable to follow it.

Looking forward to a new season. We don't have enough sci-fi shows here. Just watched the "Razor" episode. Stephanie Jacobsen as Kendra Shaw is awesome.
