Anyone else watching? We've watched the first two episodes, and so far it's pretty good... just hope it doesn't go the way of Invasion... which I liked for the first few episodes, then it just got a little too "Twin Peakish" for me...

I'm w/ you! I totally love this show so far. I watch it and then switch over to Lost for the next hour. It's gives me that ol' "God Is Coming" vibe.

I'm thinking terrorists at this point. Don't think alien's would drop a nuke, although that would be a smart way to invade from an alien standpoint. When ppl see the mushroom cloud, the last thing they'd be thinking of is an alien invasion. Hmmmm......

I've also wondered if it's something more sinister... made to "LOOK" like a terrorist, but maybe "government gone wrong" or something. The cop from Chicago seems to be a little "overprepared," I mean, who has a haz-mat suit in their home?? And what's in that barrel??

Amazing that everyone seemed to know what an EMP was. They must've been watching Lost two weeks ago. lol

Got a bit corny when all the townfolk came out to help Stan & Bonnie save their crops. (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.)

This eppy we were introduced to Mitchell, a local bad guy and old "friend" of Jakes. Apparently Mitch and gang have a compound (think militia survivalist types) outside of town. The main inconsistency in tonight's episode centered around this fact. When the wharehoused food (from the train) came up missing, Jake & friends knew Mitch took it. They kept grilling Mitch and boys as to where the food went.

Well...d'uh...maybe at the bad guys compound...ya think? And they hadn't figured it out by end of episode. Maybe the electromagnetic pulse fried all their brains along w/ all the circuitry.

Although, we did get answers to some nagging questions, especially regarding Robert, this was a pretty slow episode and not up to snuff w/ what we've been used to.
