Bret Michaels discharged from hospital after brain hemorrhage

Poison lead singer Bret Michaels has been discharged from a hospital following treatment for a brain hemorrhage, his doctor said at a press conference Tuesday.

Dr. Joseph Zabramski said that Michaels can walk but hes not walking very well. He added that the rocker had no problems with slurred speech, but that he was experiencing severe back pain. He would continue to be monitored outside the hospital.

Michaels was treated at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., for the brain hemorrhage.

He was rushed to intensive care April 22 following a severe headache. Once there, doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Michaels is starring in the current season of "Celebrity Apprentice" in the U.S., hosted by property tycoon Donald Trump.

I've never watched Rock of Love (no intention to either), but I do watch Celebrity Apprentice, and I have to say he's a very likable guy. It's obvious he really cares about his two daughters, and so for their sake if nothing else, I hope he makes a full recovery and continues to be a part of their world for many years to come.

I'm hoping he wins it! He's come up with 90% of the ideas for his teams and has been in charge without being the project manager. I got pissed off because it looks like Trump is just looking for any reason to fire him but IMO he's been the best one there. And that's INCLUDING Sharon and Cyndi. BTW, I really despise Lauper. I wish they would've booted her out sooner. She's rude and obnoxious and everythingis about her. If Bret gets fired, I'll probably quit watching the show. Sad

I'm glad he's doing ok. I really like him on Celebrity Apprentice, and I hope he can win.

I actually like Cyndi because of her craziness, but I know she has no chance of winning.

I was thinking it would be interesting if the final 2 were Cindy and Bret since they were the two candidates that were chosen by the opposite teams in the first episode as being the weakest players and easy targets.

I can't stand Cyndi! She might be a great singer but she's totally full of herself. On top of that, she has no social skills whatsoever and doesn't have a clue when she's been rude to someone because she's always done it and people let her get away with it.

On the other hand, Brett throws out the creative ideas, sees where he wants to take it, and does fairly well.

I have a feeling that if it were between those two, Trump would pick Cyndi since it sounds like he has a crush on her. Same thing if Sharon's one of the Final 2. He's been looking for a reason to gun down Brett since the start. I really do hope that Brett wins this thing. (Hopefully the filming was completed before all of his medical problems started.)

It was filmed before all this started, but the finale is always live. Trump made a comment in some interview where he said he hoped Bret would be able to come, and they'd never had a finale before where one of the final 2 didn't come.

Curtis and Marie will be the first two that get fired. Trump likes Sharon so she'll probably be there. I like Holly. I think she's done a fine job on the things she's done. I don't know if I'd say she's bossy, though. She's had to put up with Cyndi since day one and I gotta give her credit for that. Besides, Sharon can be a b*tch as well.
