Nod, I'd have wanted to do the build it task anyway, cause it's a lot more appealing to me than counting, but if for some crazy reason we'd chose counting, I'd have taken one look at that stack and turned around to go to the desk building.

I like them.. They are the nicest team for me this season.. And I hope they do well and stay long... I'm totally rooting for them.. But there seem to ba a spoiler on TARflies that says tey'd be eliminated next. Shux! too upsetting.. Argh!

They seem like very nice people, but I question the decisions they made in the last leg.  If not for sheer luck of finding the clue in the first roll, they might have had a heck of a time beating Lena and Christy.

I think they were not using their brains enough. If they want to win against the other Teams, they should have always been ahead of everyone or most of the other Teams. They haven't done that yet. It will take tons of luck to carry them into the final half of the Race.

question: don said they were the oldest team to reach this far. is there any truth in this?
 
how about steve and dave: eliminated at 5th leg? david and margaretta: eliminated at 4th leg (same level as don and mj right now)? teri and ian: second placers?

Not only are Don and MJ the oldest racers, period, they're the oldest racers to reach this point. If memory serves correctly, Dave and Margaretta were eliminated in the third round. Steve and Dave (from Chicago w00t!) were 43 and 46 when they raced. Teri and Ian were 49 and 50. So yes, Don and MJ are the oldest racers to make it 5 legs into the race.

Are they older than Bob and Joyce? If this Leg was an elim, then would they still hold the title of "oldest person to go far", or Bob and Joyce will have the title? Who was the previous holder of the title, if it existed?

I liked them a lot better after this episode.  MJ was very strong in the salt-hauling task and they never gave up at any point.  I still don't think they have the stamina to make it to the end, but I was impressed with them as racers in this episode.
