Today, school was BIZARRE.

Okay.

So at lunch, I was asked out by a girl. Well, to be specific, she wanted me to come over to her house to do math homework. Since I'm not completely dense, it was obvious that she was asking me out on what I thought was a study date. So now I will try to explain where the weirdness begins.

I've known this girl since 8th grade and she's a really good friend, but that's it. Now, there's a second girl who came to school in elementary, left for some years, and finally come came back this year. Girl 2 hates Girl 1 (and incidentally is dating Girl 1's younger brother, figure that one out). Now since both girls are my friends, I thought it would make things beyond weird if I went over to Girl 1's house on a "date", let alone "date" Girl 1 at all. I didn't want to be causing any drama. So then I spent the rest of lunch figuring out how to break it to Girl 1 gently that I didn't want to go out with her.

And then I remembered I had made plans with my younger sister to watch movies that night (since she wasn't invited to her best friend's party, another figure that one out). So yes! I had an excuse!  So then Girl 1 really wanted me to go do "math homework" still, and she wanted to do it alone. Um. No. In the end, we ended up in the library with like seven or so other people.

And...

We did math homework.

Okay, so maybe she really did need help in Algebra II! How was I supposed to know?  Roll Eyes

not school, but I moved into my dormitory. So far it's cool, though everyone is moving in today. My family and "in-laws" are their hotel relaxing before dinner.

half my wing of residence are science students so I'll have a lot people to study with. there are 18 people on my wing floor plus the Resident Advisor 9 of them are in general sciences like me and the other half are in arts so it'll be quite fun. I have some nursing orientation events thoughout the week and some residence orientation events which is awesome.

I have a roommate who is also in science, we're in a lot of the same classes which is nice so we can always ensure we're in class haaha...

Oh, wait, let's just share the fantabulousness (my term for fantastically fabulous) within ourselves. =))

Pretty good. Classes were interesting, although my ICHB lecturer gave us all the very bad news that more than half the class failed the mid term. She plans to give us the results on Wednesday, and give us the weekend to tell our parents if we failed, and she'll call them up on Monday to discuss why we're not doing well. *shudders*

If my mum got a call telling her I failed, I'd be dead. Literally. And no more computer. Eeeks.

but...my lecturer told me I passed and did pretty well in it. *phew*

I can sleep in peace now.  Grin
