TAR_4_life's 1st Amazing Race

this will be my first amazing race fantasy game
it will start March 14, 2005

the teams are:
*Bryan & Lemonde* *Best Friends* *33/34*
*G'bre & Cecilia* *Dating* *22/22*
*Marsha & Yolanda* *Teachers* *51/62*
*Mya & Melinda* *"Professional" Shoppers & Sisters* *42/45*
*Drew & Travis* *Internet Friends* *28/26*
*Mary & Ruben* *Dating* *44/45*
*Shaliqua & Shawna* *Actresses* *21/22*
*Nathan & Jordan* *Twins* *36/36*
*Cody & Genya* *Married* *29/30*
*Indira & Mohandes* *Co-workers* *49/38*
*David & Molly* *Engaged* *24/23*

Pieces of Pre-show interviews:
Brian & Lemonde:

B-"Lemonde and I are very smart and athletic, so we will win the race"

L-"Brian is very competitive, I'm just in it for the experience and making new friends!"

G'bre & Cecilia:

C-"G'bre and I have been together for about 2 years. We entered this race hoping we'd get to know each other better."

G-"Our relationship is strong, so we will probably make it to the top."

Marsha & Yolanda:

Y-"Being with 19 9-year-olds every weekday for 6 hours really tires you out."

M-"We have the stamina, strength, and smarts to win."

Y-"We will too!"

Mya & Melinda:

Mya-"Melinda and I have been together forever, and our shopping experiences together have really made our relationship strong."

Melinda-"By now, we'd do just about anything for each other."

Drew & Travis:

D-"Even though we've only met in person 2 days ago, we are like brothers."

T-"We have so much in common and we're ready to kick the other teams as$es!!"

Mary & Ruben:

M-"As soon as I saw Ruben, I said to myself 'This is my man'."

R-"Mary and I are going to dominate because we've been friends since middle school."

Shaliqua & Shawna:

Shaliqua-"The other teams are going to think of us as the petty beautiful actresses that go around making sure our nails aren't broken."

Shawna-"We're the definite underdogs!"

Nathan & Jordan:

N-"Jordan and I are very comical, yet smart."

J-"These days, comedy and smarts get you far."

Cody & Genya:

C-"Genya is my everything. If I get mad, she calms me down."

G-"If I cry, he wipes my tears away."

Indira & Mohandes:

I-"Yes, we are of Indian descent. People will think that we don't have a close bond so we're weak."

M-"But, Indira and I are as close or closer than sisters."

David & Molly:

M-"David is very athletic, so he'll be doing all of the physical roadblocks."

D-"Shut up Molly! You're so stupid!"

Sounds good! I like Cody and Genya, partially because Cody is my favorite name for a boy. Cool

If you want information on countries, you can go to www.wikipedia.org. They have excellent articles on different places the teams could go to, so you won't have to make up things.

Some of the names are very unique. I was wondering how do you pronounce G'bre? Does that mean G'bre has heritage from some other country?

G'bre is pronounced ****je-bray****
in Work/Family Studies in school, we're making cartoon recipes (illustrated recipes)
we had to pick a recipe so i chose Garlic Bread
we had to have a main character and i made it G'bre, G from Garlic and Bre from bread
