Bumping this up. To those who don't know about this, kindly read the first two pages to get an idea on how this game works.

I really, really want to get this started. I can do the timer stuff on the pages. However, I'm worried about a player having a HUGE lead over some of the teams. For example

pit stop times:
team 1 - 8:20 am
team 2 - 8:40 am
team 3 - 8:42 am

If team 1 keeps his 20 min lead all through out the season, then we'll have a predictable winner.

Then again... I can put a Yield. But what if team 1 uses the Yield?

I also thought about creating a game that more closely follows TAR. I already have my list of countries to visit, and thought about tasks, and how people will get tickets on flights, but it seems too complicated.

Please post your thoughts. They are very much appreciated! Thanks!

I am AIM and Yahoo challenged, so I'm not gonna play. But here's how I would make my TAR game on www.gsn.com/buzz.

It's simple really. 6 people sign up, and then the remaining people choose their partner. If there's enough interest, then we'll get more. After that, the game begins. All you have to do is post what you're told to do. For example, if you're instructed to, "Read Clue". Then you post, *Read Clue*. That simple. I usually make up my own route instead of borrowing from the show. It makes it more fun. That's just how I would do it.

Hey! BTW, I was planning on doing it without AIM or messengers involved. It will take a lot of programming on my side but that's ok.

I decided to do one type and then the other. MK explained it as:

on May 29th, 2005, 7:18pm, Monarch K wrote:
Well, the way they did it Season 19 was to have people find a word and then insert into a URL, thus taking them to the next clue. An example clue:

Who was the first woman to win the Amazing Race? Type in www.something.com/race/WOMAN'S NAME.html to find your next clue.

A roadblock requires you to do something more difficult like this:

Find out what your rank is if you score this many points in this game. Then type in www.something.com/race/RANKNAME.html to find your next clue.

A final pitstop clue may read"

Go to www.something.com/race/afdshfasywe98ry9237.html to get to your next pitstop. Last six teams to check in will be eliminated.

So you need a lot of these websites to get it to work properly.

But my plan is to remove the AIM thing, and add a timer on the web pages so that I can keep track on how fast each person finishes a leg. Then we compare the times at the end of a certain period of time (say every 2 days), and we eliminate the slowest person.
