As much as I hate to say it, you can't eliminate Marshall now.

The thought of him being a GOOD singer -

I know it's a little early but I have to go really soon for a walk so voting is closed for this round, but I'll be back in a few hours to post the results!

Sorry for the delay! I ended up doing a lot of things unplanned. And now I have to go out of town for a few days. So here's the next story!

If you do not want to read the whole story, which I am sure you do not, lol, just scroll down to the bottom of this post. You can pretty much see the final results there without having to read all of this, especially who gets eliminated first.. Wink

Narrator: On the last episode of The Amazing Race Idol, Peggy outshined all the other contestants. All the others, except for Marshall, that is. Marshall gave the best performance, having an edge performing last. Emily forgot her lines and tripped during her performance, giving her a lower score than anyone else in the competition. Also, you, the viewers at home, had your first opportunity to vote for your favorite contestant. Tonight, each contestant will sing a song that came from the 50’s, and, unfortunately, one contestant will be forced to leave the competition. And now, live in Los Angeles, California, here are your hosts: Ryan Seacrest and Phil Koeghan!

The audience cheers.

Phil: Welcome, welcome! Welcome to The Amazing Race Idol! I’m Phil Keoghan, and this is my pal Ryan Seacrest!

Ryan: Thank you, Phil. We have an exciting night for you, tonight! Tonight, sadly, one of our contestants will become the first one to leave this competition. But not one of them will leave before singing a song from the 50’s!

Phil: And tonight would be nothing without our judges! How are you doing, Paula?

Paula: I’m doing fantastic! How about you?

Ryan: We’re both doing great. Thanks for asking! How about you, Simon?

Simon: Ready to get tonight going!

Phil: That’s the spirit! And what about you, Randy?

Randy: Yo! I’m very anxious to find out who will be eliminated first!

Ryan: Well let’s bring out our contestants! Contestants, where are you?

One by one, each contestant walks on stage.

Phil: How does it feel to still be here?

Different Contestants: Good. Great. Awesome! Bored. Nervous!

Ryan: Well I’m sure you are. You, the viewers at home, can vote for your favorite contestant tonight if your favorite survives tonight’s elimination round. How about we get this party started?

The audience cheers.

Phil: Well let’s get straight to it then! Starting us off tonight is John Vito Pietanza, singing All Shook Up!

As the other contestants walk backstage, John Vito makes his way to center stage. The audience is still cheering.

John Vito gives an excellent performance. It is much better than his song last week. He has less pitch problems and is actually feeling the mood of the song. He does pretty well if you ask me.

Phil: Wow! That was a great way to start us off! Let’s see what the judges have to say.

Randy: That was amazing, dude. Much better than last week. I think you took our comments to heart and did much better. Good job.

Paula: That was awesome. You did do a lot better this week than last. Keep it up.

Simon: I have to disagree. I don’t think you did as good this week as last, but you still did well. Good job.

Ryan: So, how do you feel about yourself now?

John Vito: I feel a lot more confident in myself now. I just learned now that I can do anything I put my heart and mind to. Well I already learned that from The Amazing Race but I’ll say it again anyway!

Phil: Those are some kind words to hear. Let’s see how the judges score you.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 9.

Paula: 9.

Simon: 8.

Ryan: Man! Those are some pretty good scores there, buddy! You got 26 points out of a possible 30! That’s amazing! You can head on backstage now.

John Vito: Thank you everybody!

Phil: Now, let our next contestant sing! Singing Rock around the Clock is Peggy Kuhn!

The audience cheers for her.

Peggy isn’t as good this week. She has a serious pitch problem and doesn’t correctly hit many notes. But she still shows that she has a good voice.

Phil: That was great, Peggy! Let’s see what the judges have to say about you.

Simon: I thought that was terrible. You were much better at your Country song than your 50’s song.

Paula: I thought it was alright. But it was definitely not as good as last week. Good try, though.

Randy: I’m disappointed. I thought you were going to do something amazing. I just didn’t see that. I’m sorry.

Peggy: That’s okay. No problem.

Ryan: How do you feel you did?

Peggy: I really do have to agree with the judges. I definitely did not do well tonight.

Phil: Well let’s see how the judges score you.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 7.

Paula: 7.

Simon: 7.

Ryan: Well that is not bad at all! 21 points out of a possible 30 you got. That’s pretty good. You should be proud of yourself. Go on back stage.

Phil: After the break, see two more contestants perform their hearts out. The Amazing Race Idol will be right back.

Ryan: And we’re back! Let’s get a move on with the next performance! Singing Little Darlin’ is Emily Hoyt!

The audience gives a massive cheer for her as she walks on stage.

Now, Emily does a MUCH better job this week. She has developed a nice soft voice and is actually hitting the notes correctly. And she doesn’t trip. But, her performance is nothing special. But she does do better than last week.

The audience gives her a standing ovation afterward.

Paula: Wow! That was much better! You really showed your true voice! Good job!

Randy: I have to agree with Paula on this one. Nicely done.

Simon: Well although it was much better than last week, it was still rather boring tonight. I didn’t think you did as well as you could have, but I do give you credit for doing so much better this week than last. Well done.

Phil: Well! How are you feeling right now, Emily?

Emily: Much better! I didn’t think I would get such nice comments from the judges!

Ryan: Well let’s see how the judges score you.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 7.

Paula: 7.

Simon: 6.

Ryan: Wow! You did terrific, Emily! You got 20 points out of a possible 30. You doubled your score from last week! Congratulations! You can go backstage now.

Emily: Thank you very much.

Phil: And next up: singing Day-O is Marshall Hudes!

The audience cheers for him. How could they not? He did the best last week.

But he doesn’t do so well this week. He has a few pitch problems and just doesn’t connect to the song very well.

The audience still manages to cheer for him when he finishes.

Randy: Well, that was alright. I would have liked to see you do as well as last week, but that’s alright.

Paula: Ditto.

Simon: I’m extremely disappointed in you. You definitely did not do as well as I thought you would have. This is an upset.

Phil: So, how do you feel?

Marshall: I’m already worn out! And I’ve barely sung my second song!

Phil: Well let’s see the judges’ scores of you. How about that?

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 6.

Paula: 7.

Simon: 7.

Phil: Well, you got a 20 out of a possible 30 this week. That’s not bad at all!

Ryan: Well how about we get into our next performance? Singing Only the Lonely is Greg Smith!

The audience cheers on his way on stage.

Greg really messes it up this time. He forgets nearly half of his lines but tries to recover by making up some new ones. He also sings on even though the music stops going on.

Phil: Well, let’s see how the judges think of you!

Paula: Well you don’t look too bad, tonight! You seemed more appropriately dressed this week than last.

Simon: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! GET OFF THE STAGE!

The audience boos Simon.

Randy: I know you are trying, but you just don’t seem to be doing well. If you stay long enough I see some really nice improvements in you.

Greg: Thank you. Thank you all. Can I go backstage, now?

Phil: No, you may not. Let’s see how the judges score you.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 5.

Paula: 6.

Simon: 5.

Phil: Well that brings you up to a total of 16. Now you can go backstage.

Ryan: Next up, singing Love Letters in Sand is Victoria Fuller!

The audience cheers for her when she walks on stage.

She does worse than Greg. She sounds like a man and has no passion for the song whatsoever. She definitely picked the wrong song to sing.

Simon: What the heck is going on here? What happened to all of the good performances?

Paula: You look, beautiful, but you really need to work on your singing.

Randy: I’m really disappointed in you. I thought you would be singing well tonight, but I guess that is not the case.

Ryan: Victoria, how do you feel about the judges?

Victoria: Like I have mentioned before, I feel that they are very honest. Good judges.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 5.

Paula: 5.

Simon: 4.

Phil: Well that brings you to a total of 14 points. You can head on backstage now.

Ryan: Let’s get on to our final performance of the evening! Singing Great Balls of Fire is Sheree Buchanan!

She walks on stage with a big cheer supporting her.

She doesn’t sing too well. She does manage to perform better than Greg and Victoria, but not as good as the others.

Randy: That was alright. I guess it was okay for a finale performance.

Paula: You go, girl!

Simon: I thought that was terrible. You really need to work on your performance if you want to win this competition.

Ryan: How do you feel about yourself?

Sheree: I’m feeling really good right now. I think I’m through to the next round.

Narrator: Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Randy: 6.

Paula: 6.

Simon: 5.

Phil: Well that brings you to a total of 17 points. Not bad at all!

Ryan: Well, it’s time to take a look at our judges’ leader board for this week.

Phil: Currently in first place for this week is John Vito with 26 points. He will get 7 points. 7 contestants, 7 points.

Ryan: Currently in second place this week is Peggy with 21 points. She will get 6 points.

Phil: We have a tie for third place! Both with 20 points are Marshall and Emily! They will each get 5 points.

Ryan: Currently in fifth place is Sheree with 17 points. She will get 3 points.

Phil: Currently in sixth place this week is Greg with 16 points. He will get 2 points.

Ryan: And in last place this week is Victoria with 14 points. She will receive 1 point.

Phil: When we return from our break, find out who will become the first person to be knocked out of the competition!

Ryan: Welcome back to The Amazing Race Idol! It is now time to combine last week’s judges’ points, this week’s judges’ points, and your votes.

Phil: The way we score your votes is the same way we score the judges’ votes. Whoever receives the most votes from you, the people, will receive 7 points. 7 contestants, 7 points. Whoever receives the least number of votes from you will receive just 1 point.

Ryan: And, now, in random order, we can reveal the 5 people who are guaranteed to be safe for this week.

Phil: The first person to be safe is………………….Sheree Buchanan!

The audience cheers.

Ryan: The second person to be safe is……………….John Vito Pietanza!

The audience cheers.

Phil: The third person to be safe is…………………Emily Hoyt!

The audience cheers.

Ryan: The fourth person to be safe is…………………Peggy Kuhn!

The audience cheers.

Phil: And the fifth person to be safe is……………………Marshall Hudes!

The audience cheers.

Ryan: This means that Greg Smith and Victoria Fuller have the least number of combined points from last week’s judges’ points, this week’s judges’ points, and your voting points.

Phil: One of you is safe. But the other one will be forced to leave the competition.

Ryan: And now, the first person to be eliminated from The Amazing Race Idol is

Victoria Fuller. I’m so sorry. Greg, you are safe.

Victoria walks to where the two hosts are standing.

Ryan: I’m so sorry. How do you feel right now?

Victoria: I’m fine with it. I am just so glad to have had this opportunity to be in this wonderful competition. And this competition is really tough! I have no problem exiting first. I got to show America what I’m made of and to have done that for two weeks is simply enough for me. Thanks so much for even having me!

Phil: That’s the spirit. Well you will have another chance to sing for us soon.

Ryan: But before we close the show with your performance, you, the people, can now vote. You have 6 people to choose from, so decide wisely. Next week, these 6 people will sing a song from the 60’s!

Phil: Well that does it for us here. Thank you for tuning in to The Amazing Race Idol.

Ryan: I’m Ryan Seacrest.

Phil: Phil Keoghan.

Ryan & Phil: OUT!

The audience cheers for Victoria as she sings one last song.

Okay, if you did not read the whole story, Victoria has become the first person to be knocked out of the competition. You can now rank the 6 remaining contestants the same way as the last time. I will not be here until Wednesday so I will allow you to rank each contestant once a day. Voting will close whenever I get back! If you have any questions to how I determined who gets eliminated, feel free to ask. Start ranking!
