Yes, yuo made a mistake. It doesn;t matter. As long as one is worth 5 and one is worth 10 it doesn't matter. People don't put them in based on the name wihch is what you think. They put them in by the point value. And then you basically screw over all of your votes and change everything.

I have to agree on this point. I don't care on who your favorites are, but it is true, people voted on WHAT THEY SAW. If as you said +10 is worse than +5, then people will put their fave teams on +5. Granted you made a mistake, but switching the time is unfair. The people who are playing in your game DID IT RIGHT. YOU did something wrong. By switching the times after the votes has been made, you actually screwed the players over. Think of it as American Idol. What would you think if Fox told you that there was a mistake, and that Kelly's "phone number" or something was actually Justin's, and Justin's was Kelly's, and Fox decided to award the win to Justin because that number (Kelly's) was his? Doesn't that sound unfair?

I'm not saying you cheated, not at all. However, there might have been a misjudgment on how to deal with your error. I would have suggested making a revote on the Detour (back to zero on that part only). That's the fairest thing I can think of.

As a host, you have to plan your games wisely, because you can surely expect players who whine when they don't get their way. It's even good if you ask your players' advice on how to fix your error (majority rules).

Another thing, (this applies to everyone who hosts a game here) you can't force anyone into playing your game. Don't make them feel guilty if they're not checking your thread. Don't threadjack a thread just to promote your own game. There must be a good reason why they are not playing your game.

Let's consider this a learning experience. People go to this area to have fun. If you're not having fun, I suggest you find some other place that could please you and stop ruining the fun for other people.
