The Amazing Race Trivia - WINNER REVEALED!

This will be my 1st trivia game and 2nd attempt! Each week there will be different questions.

1. There will be a general question about a Detour
2. There will be a general question about a Road Block.
3. There will be 2-3 questions about the race itself.
4. There sometimes may be questions about Yields.
5. There sometimes may be questions about Fast Forwards.
6. There sometimes may be questions about locations.
7. There will be 1-3 questions about a team.

Each week you will be scored on how well you answer the following questions and how fast you send them in. For example, if you get 8/9 correct and send them in 1st you will not finish first. You will finish behind all of the 9/9 and in front of all the 8/9 and less that finished behind you. I factor in time and answers because if I didn't factor in time there would be an 8 way tie every week.

Yield:

There will be THREE yields in this race. A player who uses his yield will get no bonus. The player being yielded will be subtracted ONE point from there total accumilated score of correctly answered questions from that score.

Fast Forward:

There will be a Fast Forward available to be used on every leg of the race except the last 2. Players will only be able to excercise there Fast Forward once in the race so it is suggested that they go for it when most needed. A player will automatically rise to the top of the points with a TWO point lead.

You can start signing up now. Don't worry, clues will be posted at different times. That way there won't be any advantage/disadvantage to one side of the world.

The game will start shortly after we get our 11 players. If there is a 12th player who would like to play then I can easily allow that.

You do NOT need to make up a team name, you will be known as your Metroplis Reality Forums screen name.

This sounds sweet. I was going to start one once I finished my Fantasy Game but now I dont need to because I'm in one.

Redwings, it wouldn't surprise me if you would have too....no one ever joins my games...3 weeks from now we'll probably have 6 people singed up if I'm lucky...I really really hope this will work! All suggestions are welcome!

Theres something though, Racedude you said there were a gheneral question about a Fastforward (I think you meant Roadbloack) and there might be one of a Fast Forward, I think you most change one to roadblock or is that intended?!

can you provide an example of what one of the questions would be?

also, are the questions from all different seasons?

Yes, questions will be from different seasons...

I'm sorry that I can't go into detail as to what the questions are though....I can however tell you though that there will be 10 on each time.

There will be some matching, multiple choice, short answer, and true/false (correcting) in which if it's false you need to correc the italicized word...such as there have been 19 all female teams....you would put false...then your answer....you will get 1/2 point for the answer and half point for the correction...if it is true it will be worth one point all together.....
