TAR: Make a Route: Landmarks Cancelled!

I am pleased to announce the second edition of TAR: Make a Route!, TAR: Make a Route: Landmarks.

   In this edition, I am looking for routes that are made entirely of Landmarks. Please follow this format when submitting your routes.....

START: Landmark, City, U.S.A.
1: Landmark, City, Country
2: Landmark, City, Country
3: Landmark, City, Country
4: Landmark, City, Country
5: Landmark, City, Country
6: Landmark, City, Country
7: Landmark, City, Country
8: Landmark, City, Country
9: Landmark, City, Country
10: Landmark, City, Country
11: Landmark, City, Country
12: Landmark, City, Country
13: Landmark, City, Country
14: Landmark, City, Country
FINISH: Landmark, City, U.S.A.

   Please include each of the criteria for each leg.....

   - 1 Route Info
   - 1 Detour
   - 1 Roadblock
   - 1 Fast Forward
   - 1 Pitstop, 3 Non-eliminations
   - ONE OF YOUR CHOICE!!!

   With ONE OF YOUR CHOICE, not only are you making the route, you are also making a new clue that will be used in every leg of the race! Please make it something that is standardized (ie. Route Info, Detour, Roadblock), and not designed for only one team (ie. Fast Forward, Yield)

   You must include at least 4 different continents and 7 different countries throughout the race.

RULES
   To be eligible to submit a route, you must sign up and post your route.

Route Info
   This is a standard clue used to direct each team to the next route marker. One appears in each leg of the race.

Detour
   This is a clue that has two options, and each team may only choose one. Times will be different for each option. One appears in each leg of the race.

Roadblock
   This is a clue in which only one team member may perform the task. Each team member may complete this up to 7 times in the race. One appears in each leg of the race.

Fast Forward
   This is a clue which only one team may receive (each team may only use this once per race, also), and by doing so, will lead them directly to the pitstop. WHEN OBTAINING A FAST FORWARD, THE TEAM MUST CLEARLY POST THAT THEY HAVE CLAIMED IT IN THIS THREAD!!! This requires extra work. One appears in each leg of the race.

Pitstop
   This is when teams get clocked in for the leg.

Time
   Each team earns a time for each leg. This is determined by completion of each task. The scoring will appear like this:

   - Route Info: +1 for order
   - Detour: one option will be +3 and the other will be +6
   - Roadblock: +1 for order
   - Fast Forward: +5 penalty for use

NOTE: Everyone will start at 0 at the beginning of every leg. This is unlike last season, where times carried over.

Clues will be posted as follows:

Start of leg: Sunday
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Pitstop: Friday

SIGN UPS TO SUBMIT A ROUTE:
1.

   You do not need to submit a route AND race, however, you may. Also, please sign up with your name, then your team. You may be other characters besides TAR people. Each team may only have two people.

Deadline to submit a route is Thursday, December 14, 2006.

Deadline to sign up is Thursday, January 4, 2007.

The race begins on Sunday, January 8, 2007.
