In the previos part of the amazing race

Players have to chose between view it and carve it

Players excel in both tasks

then they went to listen a song for their next clue

wgal did it quickly

while other players wondering what song it is

the answer is Volar

And they received their next clue

Make your way to Teatro alla Scala, the pit stop of this leg of the race.

Warning: The last player to check here there MAY be eliminated.

and so they raced to the pit stop

Victor: This is Teatro alla Scala, Milan. It is the eighth pit stop of the race around the world and the pit stop of the special race. The last player to check in here MAY be eliminated.

Each time unit stands for half an hour

wgal, you are player number ONE!
(3:00PM) Being the winner of this leg of the race, you have just won a right to stop one other player from racing for half an hour.

Geez, I thought MAR1 was bad when me and Popo finished 1-2 in all of the 7 legs we ran *before quitting*.

Previously in the Amazing Race

Players in the main race struggled to the pit stop

and redwings who was the last player to arrive was seventh to be eliminated

In the special race, all three players are qualified into the race, but only Elizabeth was not marked for elimination.

Will Kuchiki Byakuya and Odvesims be eliminated?

Or wgal keeps leading the pack?

We will find out

And so Elizabeth purchased one too

The first flight carries wgal and Elizabeth takes off

An hour later

t receives his first clue

and goes to the airport

The next flight will be an hour from now

t: Ooh...

t boarded the plane an hour later

two and a half hour later, Popo arrived at the airport

next flight will be 1 hour from now

and Popo waits

half an hour later

FunnyBunny arrives

May I have the fastest flight to Coimbra, Portugal please?

I am afraid the flight is full, miss. The next flight avaliable will be 2 hours away from now

Search for the area for a Coat of Arms of Pope John Paul II and return it to a preist in the New Cathedral of Coimbra to retrieve your next clue.

Task: Send me a picture of the Coat of Arms of Pope John Paul II and explain breifly what does the 'M' on it stands for.

They searched and searched

and found it finally under benches, next to dust bins, hid right next to a lamppost, etc.

and there they go to the New Cathedral of Coimbra.

Route Info
Take a charter bus to Evora and search for your next clue in the Giraldo Square.

$10 is taken away from each player automatically for the fee of the charter bus.

Detour
Right outside it or Deep inside it
Detour is a set of clues which have their own pros and cons. Players have to choose between the tasks, Right outside it or Deep inside it.

In Right outside it, travel to Beja, a city of Portugal. Make your way to Museu da Rainha D. Leonor. You will find a statue of a man at the Western facade. Get the name of him and tell the guard your answer, if it is correct, the guard will hand you your next clue.

Task: Give me the name of the man of the statue at the Western facade of Museu da Rainha D. Leonor.

In Deep inside it, travel to Alcobaca, a city of Portugal. Make your way to Alcobaca Monastery. Once there, search for the entrance to the sacristy. It is designed of a special kind of architectural style. Next, head to the Gothic fountain house. Next to a Renaissance water basin, tell the man breifly about the architectural style you saw. Once the man is pleased, he will hand you your next clue.

Task: Explain breifly the architectural style of the entrance to the sacristy in the Moastery. Also, send me a picture of the exterior of the Gothic fountain house.

The places of the two detours are quite far apart and it is almost impossible to switch detours. If you really do so, you will waste your precious time.

Make your way to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. Once there, go to the Vasco da Gama Tower where you will find your next clue.
