O.o thanks for doing it TAR 4 Life. Oh, and about the city twinnings, here in the Philippines, that is SO COMMON!

We have a Mexico in Pampanga. We have a New York in Cubao. We have a Connecticut in San Juan. And there's so much more... most of the street names in the upper-class cities <San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, and a certain part of Quezon City> have names in the US, if not, around the world... is there a San Fernando in the US? 'Cause there's one here in Pampanga!

...Filipino users know EXACTLY what I mean. O.o;;;;;

Obviously, most Americans came from other countries. They named the towns to honor where they came from to keep a little of the "old country" with them.

We also have lots of towns with American Indian names and geographical features as well (eg Wappingers Falls, Dry Gorge, etc)

Don't be so quick to judge.

Popo and Amarillo, who were first to arrive in Hwange find their next clue:

Detour: Walk or Ride

Walk: In this task, teams will need to follow a three mile marked path through the reserve. While on the reserve, teams will need to use a checklist to mark off at least ten animals they see while walking. Teams will turn in the checklist for their next clue once they complete the walk.

Task: Both team members complete the detour. Answer these questions. PM me your answers.

1. What year was the Hwange National Forest founded and who founded it (name)?
2. Name the three camps in the park.
3. What is the area of the park (in km^2)
4. How many mammal species does the park contain?
5. This national park contains 20% of the Zimbabwe's_______? (Hint: Its an animal, think about Lion King.)

Ride: In this task, teams will take a one hour animal safari ride through the National Park. They have no objective to complete while on the ride, but they need to decide if this task (sitting on a safari for an hour) could be quicker than "Walk".

Task: This choice has no task. If you decide to take this choice, you will be given 1 hour to your time, as thats is the duration of the safari ride. Its up to you to decide if that will be faster than the other choice. One member will need to PM me telling me that you are taking this option. If you dont PM me, I assume you are completing neither and your team will receive a four hour penalty.
