Racedude and redwings are banned suddenly and they did nothing wrong.
It was thought to be a glitch.
Can Moderators fix it as soon as possible and game hosts pause their games for a while?

i dont think it was a bug, racedude was banned for flaming, i just don't know how i was part of that for a hour

Hmm. Racedude needs to change his bad attitude. He's a really great guy to play with. [edited out for flames] and he becomes obnoxious at times, but I'm cool with it.

And because I can not tolerate his wrong doing, I won't pause my game just for him because it was him who commited a mistake. That should do as a penalty. It saddens me that this might be a key for him to go home this level at my game but if that's what happens then I'd let it be.

Sometimes, he just have to learn a lesson..

As was explained earlier, he was suspended for 3 days. He had been warned before to stop picking fights with Popo, but he did it again yesterday in one of the threads, so Rhune decided to give him a 3-day vacation from the forum.

As for redwings' case, it's either a bug or an error. I don't think he was intentionally banned for an hour. Maybe he was using a proxy address that was banned from the forum? I can't really help you on this matter. Have you PMd Rhune?

Dear Rhune,

If you feel the need to ban me after reading this post, please feel free to do it. Because i can't possibly just ignore all the rubbish that Tyler had done after his "banning experience". As for JP, Heather and CallMeRob, if you feel the need to report me to Rhune, Bumper or any other moderators on Forumsnet, please feel free to do so too because i can't assure all of you that i can keep this post "nice" and not consist of any critisms/insults that i have for Tyler. However, i promise that i will try and keep this post "flame-free" and try and abide to the forums rules while i state out my case.

Basically, Tyler was banned because he flamed me on the TAR Allstars Episode 9 Discussion Thread. I joked about what i'll do to Charla and Mirna in the thread, and Tyler came in to the thread and posted his comment. It was "You just wasted 30 seconds of my time to read this post". Well, some of you might think that Tyler was probably just being sarcastic with me too, but things aren't as easy as you see it.

Tyler and I were previously warned that we must stop all our nonsense and peace out with each other. Right now, i've abided to the warning and that's why you still see my postings around here in this forum. But Tyler was probably banned because Rhune saw his message which was directed to me and it wasn't exactly very nice. Rhune already made it very clear before hand that there was to be no more nonsense from anyone of us or we will be banned.

Now what is it that Tyler had done which made me extremely offended? Basically instead of feeling remorse for breaking the forums rules and getting banned, Tyler showed no signs of remorse at all. He can happily logged on to MSN and tell me the content of his post directed to me, and said it was unfair that he was just "copying what i've said to him before" and i didn't get banned, while he did.

Now what does "copying what i've said to him before" means? It simply means that he was trying to make it a point to show a few others which he complained to on MSN about this incident. His case was that i previously "flamed" him before using that exact same message, and i wasn't ban while he was. In other words, he's trying to make it a point to show people that Rhune is probably unfair and banned him but not me, or either he's trying to get me banned too.

The problem with this is, Tyler claimed that i've said it but has no concrete evidence of showing it. I do not remember saying the exact same sentence to him. If i've did, i apologize to him right now for being rude to him. But the problem lies with is that even if i've really probably said something that mean to him, it was right way before when Rhune sent a PM to us to tell us to stop our nonsense and sarcastic comments with each other a long long time ago. Which this shows that -

1. Rhune does have a valid reason for banning Tyler.
2. Tyler wants to make a comparison and make me banned as well.
3. Tyler shows no sign of remorse.
4. Tyler deserves to be banned afterall.
5. Even if i did say the "mean" thing which he claimed i've said to him, i'm to be held no responsibility because that was way before Rhune sent us a warning letter and i've mended my ways and my attitude towards him since then.

This is a long post and i've stated my case with Tyler. I'm just trying to salvage the situation before Tyler continues to go around tarnishing my reputation. If Tyler wants to find evidence of me saying the "mean" thing to him, i suggest he utilize the "Search" function fully because i am sure that searching through 17250 (and growing) posts would not be an easy task. I recommend the use of "wasted", "seconds" and probably "life" as the searching keywords.

I have unlocked this briefly to point out that Racedude was suspended for 3 days for his flame post, having been previously warned about this. Permanent banishment will occur if there are continued flames after this.

Popo, next time you have a message for me, send it to my in-box intead of using me as a podium to make a dramatic scene.

Based on the other posts that have popped up, it appears I do need to make another one here.

Please stop posting messages from Racedude. He was fairly and clearly warned about flames. He posted a flame, and he was given a suspension. When his suspension is up, we will be glad to discuss it with him. In the meantime posting messages from him stirring up drama over it, is not going to be ok.

It doesn't really matter if he considered that to be a big enough flame or not, it was still a flame. He knew the rules, and he knew he was going to get a suspension the next time it happend. Again, he's welcome to discuss it with us when his suspension is up.

I've had a couple people ask, so one more addition... Redwings was not banned or suspended from our site at any point. It sounds like it were a browser issue, probably related to cookie or security settings. Once Redwings opened up in a different browser they had no problems connecting.

If you are suspended you get a message when you try to log in telling you that you are suspended and for how long. Also, we believe in giving a private warning before suspending anyone when there is a problem, and to the best of my knowledge, Redwings has never had to have a warning about behaviour and certainly hasn't had one recently. No one has ever been suspended out of the blue with no warnings for things like flaming. This is only a step we take when there have been warnings and a problem continues.
