While the operator is opening the network, the underlying optical transmission system can be integrated with the equipment provider, and the upper layer network control can be returned to the operator's main body. This allows all parties in the industry to do their best while ensuring the stability of the system while maximizing Open network rights.
 
At the same time, based on existing standard technologies, it promotes the standardization of software interfaces, connects the underlying transmission system with upper-layer control, and realizes the interconnection and interworking of services on different equipment vendors' networks, and free deployment, and finally opens up the network.
 
In response to the full cloudization of the transport network and the demand of operators for the open network, Huawei launched the CloudOptiX cloud transport network solution at the 2017 World Mobile Conference. The solution is based on an open network architecture and supports multi-vendor and inter-domain service interconnection, optimizing network resource allocation and reducing operating costs.
 
At the same time, CloudOptiX organically combines the latest technologies in the optical and electrical domains to ensure that the underlying transmission system is stable and reliable and continues to evolve. CloudOptiX will accelerate the openness of the network ecosystem, help operators to fully cloud their networks, realize digital transformation, build future large-bandwidth, low-latency, intelligent and open transmission networks, and fully support future emerging network services.
