Wow, driving in India is.... absolute Crazy.

I agree that this episode is kinda boring.  Undecided I thought the eating task can be more interesting. But JoeJer's a machine! She finished before Andy, when Andy/Laura were the first team who arrived at the restaurant.

Yup. It really shows in the preview. What actors Andy/Laura are, definitely going to be yielded, etc. And the rivalry between them and Sandy/Francesca? sheesh

What's boring is the teams always get equalized at some part of the leg and gives the backpackers a chance to go ahead. I just hate that. I hope some team/s will get left behind by missing a plane or whatever. Seriously.  Angry

Okay, am i the only one who thinks this leg is too TAR 7?

The shoe shine Roadblock, remember TAR 7 had one too?

The Detour where one team had to carry the milk on their head, remember a Detour in TAR7 required teams to carry stuffs on their head too.

The counting Detour, it's not TAR 7, but the Ikea Detour in TAR 6.

Then the Pitstop, running up the stairs to find Allan Wu on the rooftop, that's exactly what happened to in TAR 7.

I mean, everything that we have seen today has already been done on the original TAR today, so definitely people will find this episode boring.

I have no idea why Mardy/Marsio's getting so much screentime, it's either they get eliminated next or they win the race.

Joebrina's face time is dropping, they might be in danger too.

The rivalry between other teams VS Andy/Laura is starting to show! TAR RIVALRY AT ITS BEST! Cool

I think the time is up for Mardy/Marsio in this race  Cry I enjoyed watching them.
They weren't as competitive as the remaining teams, and I believe most viewers won't be glad to see them win. Plus, there used to be Indonesian sponsors showing commercials of introducing Mardy/Marsio as the Indonesian team on AXN but it's gone now. So my guess is they are exiting.  Sad

The milk detour is much easier than the one in TAR 7. They were allowed to hold the jar for balance while in TAR 7 they weren't allowed (if I remember correctly).

Kudos to Uchenna/Joyce for mastering that.

I kind of saw that too, all-female teams didn't have much air time in TARA. How irritating. Angry

Just saw it 2 days ago. I didn't notice that the episode was too TAR7 until Popo mentioned it. I kind of agree. The shoe-shine RB was meh. The Detours were so unbalanced (pun intended? lol), and I thought the head-balancing Detour was misleading!!! If I was there and I found out you could hold the jug I would have cried foul.

Love the taxi race in India. Totally horrific for the racers, fun for us just sitting on the couch (or in my case, in front of the computer).

The final clue was predictable. Even Andy and Laura looked like they wanted to tell Allan "Yea yea we know. Give us the clue!!!" No surprises. I would have loved a Pit Stop that is NOT 12-hours but rather 5 minutes.

Allan: "You are team number....... 1! However, you have to leave the Pit Start .... in 5 minutes. Good luck."

I didn't realize that it was so TAR7-ish too but i knew i had seen the shoe shine detour before. And the milk. I just forgot what season it was from.  Tongue

If Uchenna/Joyce saw this episode i bet their disappointed in the Milk detour.

^^ i thought that was an unfair advantage, when the african people do the head balancing stuff they have hands free or only ONE hand for balance if its a large object like a water urn  Angry

Joe Jer and Zabrina rock! they are so cool hehe, only just starting to notice them now though, i wonder who is gonna be elininated tonight (too bad i can't see it for another 2/3 days until it gets uploaded on YouTube)

I was not offended at Andrew and Syeon's "We're not Catholic" comment. They were not obliged to light the candle anyway.

LOL at Andrew burping!! :laff:

Ironic that J/ZZ brought up the point about eating till they can't eat any more, because many people in India are starving!

Quote:

I think the Indians themselves need to use hands to balance the jugs on their heads. And I think it was stated on the clue that they could use their hands for support. Allan said the task was physically demanding, but did not say that teams need a keen sense of balance.

Just my hunch, the pots in India seem a lot heavier than the plastic pails in Africa. Maybe the Africans have a better sense of balance than the Indians, and each TAR committee follow exactly how it's done in each place.
