'Survivor' producer lets secrets slip
By JAM! TV
Talking with an American radio station, "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett has confirmed that there are plans in the works for an all-star "Survivor" series.

The series would probably be the ninth installment ("Survivor 9") and wouldn't feature celebrities but former contestants instead. Burnett's initial plan is to allow the general public to pick the cast of "Survivor 9." The teams would consist of two players from each of the previous seasons.

"It is highly likely we will do that because it is much more achievable than getting A-list celebrities," Burnett told STAR 100. Burnett had just returned to the United States for the Thanksgiving holiday and to take a break from filming "Survivor: Amazon" in South America.

In the interview, Burnett also let it slip that several past "Survivor" contestants competed in the upcoming "Eco-Challenge Fiji." Set to air next year, the series will feature such former Survivors as Jenna Lewis ("Survivor"), Kelly Wiglesworth ("Survivor") and Ethan Zohn ("Survivor: Africa").

Meanwhile, CBS will reveal the the Sole Survivor of "Survivor: Thailand" on a special two-hour series finale on December 19th. The finale will be immediately followed by a 'Survivor: Thailand' reunion show hosted by Jeff Probst. (More on Survivor:Thailand.)
