With all the sneezing i have been doing of late, i have been thinking a lot about allergies.

Do any of you guys suffer from hayfever as well? If so, what do you use to squash it?  Anything else you're allergic to?

I use flonase. It works well for seasonal allergies. It just takes a couplpe of days to fully kick in.

ephedraHuh for allergies?  Why did i think that was a nutritional supplement?

Well the allegra isn't working out to well. I will give it one more day and then add the singulair to it and see how that works.  if not, will call doc and ask for flonase or Zyrtec

Oh MY Roll Eyes  I've had allergies for so many years and tried just
about everything on the market and that could be prescribed!
l
Since we've moved in this house a few years ago, we don't have grass in the back yard and not too many trees.  I think this has helped, BUT in the Spring & Fall, I still have a little bit of allergies.  What I now do is take  2 Benadryl before going to bed if it is needed.  Since it makes me sleepy, I do get a good night of rest and no stinging in the nasal area the next morning.
I also have a prescription for Nasonex.

With as much problem as you seem to be having, Angel, try the salt water solution.  A cup of lukewarm water with 1/2 teaspoon salt and a small syringe.
Yes, at first you will feell you've been dunked in the pool, but keep going and squirt it up your nose and flush it through.   After you get used to it, you'll use it when you feel an attack coming on.

Good luck and feel better soon.
I do remember how horrible that made me feel  Cry

ephedra....

let me explain:
sudafed... short for pseudo-ephedrine....
I just get the pure form, or at least something with a high amount..... works wonders...

my second remedy:
hot sauce straight out of the microwave... preferably habanero based.....

my third remedy:
you guessed it ladies and gentlemen...

walks way singing.....
preacher man says its the end of time, and the mississippi river, she's a going dry.....   .... and a country boy can survive!!!
