LOST FINDS FILM STAR: (TVGuide) Someone on Lost island may want to double-check that flight manifest. Turns out there was a semi-famous movie star on board Oceanic Flight 815 when it crashed last fall. As first reported in a little column called Ask Ausiello, Michelle Rodriguez (Girlfight, Resident Evil) will be introduced in the thriller's flashback-heavy season finale next month as a fellow passenger who befriends Matthew Fox's Jack prior to takeoff. Hope that doesn't mean she got stuck sitting in coach.

It's a compelling show, but when you have to consistenly go a month between new episodes it's hard to stay very excited.

I LOVE this show... I watch the new episodes, I rewatch the reruns, and I have them all on tape and rewatch those.. every time I watch I see things I missed the first time... I LOVE it...

Actually I read a spoiler that showed some of the future castaways they will run into....

It hasn't lost steam with me, but I have to admit being aggravated by the reruns and the finale.  No questions were answered, far as I could tell.

I feel they did the show a real disservice by breaking it up so much with long periods of reruns between new episodes.  They allowed it to lose momentum and excitement by airing it that way.  I can only hope season 2 will be handled better.

Not to bump an old thread, but an added comment
 
What they are starting to do now with many shows (Alias, 24, scrubs etc) is have them start later (like January) and end in may, then they can go through those 6 months with almost no reruns at all.  the downside is, no new eps from May to January, but that's just one LONG break as opposed to a whole bunch of short ones.
 
Anybody think this might take effect for all shows?  Have seasons of six months with no breaks for reruns?
Cuz I just started watching Lost this summer, so the reruns don't bother me, but i stopped watching Smallville because of them  As Rhune said, i just lost interest
