LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Fast Affiliate Ratings for May 9, 2002 NBC continued to hold on to the title on Thursday night with a 14.5 rating/27 share, with its closest competition coming from CBS with its 12.0/19. Without the "The Bachelor," FOX and UPN moved up to third and fourth with a 5.1/8 and 4.5/7 respectively, while ABC slid to fifth place with a 3.9/6 and The WB brought up the rear with a 3.1/5. In the 18 to 49 demographic, NBC won with a 10.9 to CBS' 7.1, while FOX beat ABC with a 3.6 to a dismal 1.6. At 8 p.m., back-to-back episodes of "Friends" (15.1/25 and 12.9/20) won the hour for NBC with a 14.0/23 average, enough to beat CBS' "Survivor: Marquesas," 12.2/20. Prepping audiences for next Thursday's release of "Attack of the Clones," FOX gave over it's night to "Star Wars: Episode One -- The Phantom Menace," averaging a 5.1/8 from 8 to 11 p.m. and coming in third during each of the hours of primetime. The newly named "WWE Smackdown!" took a 4.5/7 from 8 to 10 p.m. and secured fourth place for itself. Hanging out in fifth place, ABC gave over 8 to 10 p.m. to the children's movie "Stuart Little," averaging a 3.3/5. A repeat episode of "Charmed" finished things off for the hour with a 2.34 for The WB. CBS confidently took first place at 9 p.m. with a new "CSI" that set-up next year's probable spinoff series, 16.4/25, while NBC slipped to second place with back-to-back "Will & Grace" (11.6/18 and 10.7/16), averaging an 11.1/17 for the hour. FOX and UPN maintained third and fourth place with its movie and wrestling, while a new episode of "Charmed" on the WB, 3.9/6, pushed ABC's "Stuart Little" to last place for the hour, 3.3/5 "ER" put NBC back in first place at 10 p.m. taking an 18.4/29. Meanwhile, CBS held on to second with "The Agency," 7.4/12, FOX concluded its movie and ABC got its best numbers for the night with "PrimeTime Thursday," 5.3/8.
