S5 Cast

Is it just me or what?  I keep looking at all of the survivors for S5 and I can't pick out a jock girl or a really survival oriented guy.
 
In past seasons, you could make a pretty good guess, like Kelly Wigglesworth in S1, or Gina Crews in S4.
 
Im trying to make my picks for the F2 (my hubby and I do this every survivor) and Im having a terrible time.
 
I see old women, young women, primadonnas and I see old men, young men, and primadonnas, but I dont see any survivors.
 
Anyone else find this to be a problem?

I think Jed has survival skills.  He ran an outbacking company in Colorado.  He took over his son in law's business after his SIL was tragically killed in an airplane accident, I believe.

Yeah, I see Stephanie as the jock girl type definitely.  Hmm as far as a survival type guy...I'm not sure.. I see a couple that *might* turn out to be that way.  I think we're gonna see some impressive people out of the red team as far as teamwork and survival skills go, personally.  The blue team has so many youngsters on it I'm expecting it to implode.. maybe that's just because of past seasons and I'm all wrong.. but that's what I'm thinking.

That was Jake, actually, the old Texan; Jed's the young Colby with the perfect teeth. Wink  John is a hunter/fisher with jungle experience, and Jed has lived in the tropics.  Among the women, Helen is a NAVY Water Survival Instructor, though it's not clear how far that instruction extends beyond staying afloat until the rescue chopper picks you up.  Steph is clearly the buffest of the women, with Helen and Jan being the next most physically fit.
