Survivor returns to CBS this fall with its fifth edition "Bob, I have something to entice you this time though, two of the biggest boobs ever to appear on the show," offered the show's host, Jeff Probst. For the fifth time, Probst takes over hosting duties, and directs the lives of 16 Americans as they try to survive Koh Tarutao, a remote island off the southern coast of Thailand. He says this is one of the most interesting casts he's had, but still has thoughts on previous players. "I still keep in contact with a few of the old Survivor contestants like Colby, Gina and Ethan," says Probst. "But that whole fifth grade contengency from Africa can kiss my ass." To make things even more exciting this time around, they will be doing this during the region's dangerous monsoon season. Think you’ve seen it all before? Think again. This fifth season of Survivor is promising brand new challenges, new rules and new twists like nothing ever seen in the previous installments. As the castaways are faced with harsh weather and the uncertainty of what's coming next, each person must attempt to outwit, outplay and outlast the others in order to become the ultimate survivor. "The best, and most interesting players are the ones with the really high IQ, or the really low IQ's. Those people in the middle are the ones your not sure about," says Probst. "The low IQ people are either just dumb, or maybe not book smart, but street smart. And those people are fun to watch." SIDE NOTE - Jeff says that his favorite location was also the worst one in the series. He loved Africa, but that was the worst cast. SIDE NOTE - Jeff also says that the after parties of Survivor are like opening a bottle of sexual tension. "They are all staying in the same hotel, and have been waiting months to see each other again. There is a lot of consummating going on." FACTOID – Jeff Probst recently tried his hand at writing and directing with his feature film “Finder’s Fee.” In addition, he won an award for best screenplay, and was named this year's Breakout Director at the Sonoma Film Festival.
