My mom said she saw Tom on the TV show The View saying he won...  I didnt see it, so I'm not sure, but it could be true

Ok We all know Tom is going to win, First of all They don't know the votes untill the LIVE finale tonight, another reason that can not be true is because  If Tom said that They would not give him his money and he would be fined by CBS.

Yes I know that, However 99.9% of the time, LIVE is not LIVE... And I think my mom m,ight have heard something along the lines of "So TOm, the firefighter, we understand that you won"*flicked the channel*most of the immunity challenges...

The Live Reunion Special is Taped at 9:00 PM on the Finale date, meaning it isn't live they just find out an hour before the viewers find out.  I have All*Stars on DVD and it has a timeline of what goes on that night, the Survivors and the Audience gets to start watching the Finale at like 6 or 7 and then they do the Reunion Special and head to the After Party at like 10:30.   And Yes Tom won, finally someone won who deserved to win.

I don't understand.  they are in LA, so if survivor live is taped at 9PM, then that's Midnight here on the east coast and we are watching something before it was taped.  Judging by the editing of the show, i think its safe to assume that in this case, live means live
