If the S34 rumors are true and the next all returnee season sees the "biggest players" voted off early (to Jeff's + the viewers' dismay), I think the likelihood of dividing the tribes in a way that might prevent that problem happening again is a likelihood.
The best way to disrupt the trend of seeing big names go home early is to address it head on. Champs vs. Challengers was supposedly what casting was aiming for during S34 production and I *hope* it eventually gets used. I like the idea of dividing three tribes : WINNERS (Sole Survivors) CHAMPIONS (3x, 4x + Final Tribalists) & CHALLENGERS (Second Chancers). If taken seriously, i think this format could provide for a filler-free all returnee cast. Jeff can make comments on how the CHAMPS are also technically 'challengers' and the WINNERS are the 'real champs' and how some of the CHALLENGERS who make it far in the game might already have proven they deserve a 'CHAMP' status.
