Let the Jacquard regime reign supreme. The breathable knit upper has found its way onto a number of Air Max silhouettes – most notably in the Nike Air Max 95, and it’s easy to see why the offering is an attractive one. The most recent endeavor is this Nike Air Max Thea Metallic Gold Latest. While the JCRD style usually begs for a more vibrant offering, here we see that a colorway as subtle as this Dark Grey/Black-Metallic Silver can still stand out.
The Nike Air Max Thea Black Best is one of those rare pairs of Nikes that has men looking at the WMNS category and feeling a little jealous. The shoe has taken off this past year in a number of interesting material combinations and today we get a better look at the Air Max Thea with a woven upper that’s a part of an upcoming ‘Glow in the Dark Pack’ that sees the back heel and air max unit light up. This WMNS release also features a gradient midsole where the predominant color of electric purple fades to white while accents of volt hit the tongue and laces to match the glow.
The Nike Air Max Thea Metallic Silver Store looks to be one of those bubble bottomed NSW remixes that will stay over in the WMNS category. But despite being an exclusively women’s model, the pair hasn’t limited itself to the more girly end of the color spectrum. In fact, this cherrywood pair is probably the most feminine one we’ve seen yet, and even its deep reds wouldn’t look too out of place on a release for the opposite sex.
The new Nike Air Max Thea Carbon Green high quality has a thing for Flash Lime. After debuting in a colorway dipped in the vibrant green shade, the Air Max Thea returns with another tonal upper. This time, it’s all grey up top, as the Mercury and Mine Green shades combine to create a steely appearance. The Flash Lime comes in on the Air Max 90-leaning sole as well as a diagonally striped heel tab we’ve seen on a few Nike Sportswear releases of late.
Most of Nike Sportswear’s faux retro runners have combined elements from styles released in the early to mid 1990s. this one takes a bit of a different route as we see lines from the Air Max 90, a reinforced saddle like the original Air Maxim 1 and plenty of the Hyperfuse welding that has updated both classics over the past couple years. This new Nike Air Max Thea White Shop also gets in on the camo theme that’s spreading throughout the NSW catalog, its colorway and pattern resembling a WMNS Air Max 1 Tape set to release next month.
