Air to max. Air Max Day pre-drinks turn on pulsatingly as Nike shoots even fire in their one-sided collection of FootballX silos. Transformed as a tribute to iconic Air Max designs prior to Air Max Day on March 26, it's streetwear meets street football in Nike Air Vapormax Dames special edition style.
As with the Air Max Icons Collection, the FootballX Series borrows images from four of the most heralded Air Max silhouettes and uses them for Mercurial, Hypervar, Magista and Tiempo. Equipped with both indoor and grass gaze, the full FootballX Adidas ZX 700 Womens quartet is customized technology by their cleansing brothers, while only MercurialX and TiempoX have alternative aesthetics.
MercurialX Proximo offers red finishing details for blue as it requires influence from Air Max 90, while HypervenomX Proximo reflects the distinctive design Adidas Superstar Dam Svart of the famous Nike Air Max 95 shoes. MagistaX Proximo receives shades of Air Max 97 vibes and a Lunarlon sole for added comfort, a feature as it shares with Air Max 1 inspired TiempoX Proximo. The TiempoX is also slightly changed from the studded version, as it shines with red details Adidas ZX Flux Donna about the blue tone. Air Max month just keeps giving.
As a celebration of Air Max Day, Nike opens open snakeasy pop-up locations in key hubs throughout North America next week. In these places, Air Max enthusiasts will have access to special and limited releases, Nike Air Max Classic BW Femme interactive displays and art installations for the line's 30th anniversary.
In addition, NIKEiD on Air Max Day (March 26) will launch Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit limited editions with Sneakeasy sites throughout North America with first access to the developer. New York Adidas NMD Womens will have access on March 20, Los Angeles on March 22 and Chicago and Los Angeles on March 25th.
For VaporMax ($ 250) designers can color the top and dimming and add graphics to the lateral side of the shoe. On Air Max 1 Flyknit ($ 220) you can color the upper and middle soles and Adidas Gazelle Dam add Airmoji details to the tongues.
