Meredith and Gretchen - 3:24
Susan and Patrick - 3:35
Brian and Greg - 3:46

As the remaining 9 teams depart they find that they must drive them selves to the Andes Mountains.Warning: Yield Ahead! Before they do that they all have to wait at a car garage where the cars are loacated. For a couple hours the car garage is locked, which allows all 9 teams to catch up. On the way to the car garage, Debbie and Bianca decide to pull of the road and ask for directions. And a couple minutes later those sneaky survivors stole there taxi. It wasn't easy, but when rob said he would offer more money the taxi drivers eyes lit up and said okay. Walking out of the hotel was a frustrated Debbie and Bianca who were very mad about Rob and Amber Stealing there cab. Once the car garage opened up all teams started heading to the Andes mountains. For most teams this was not a problem but for Susan and Patrick and Debbie and Bianca it was. Debbie and Bianca ended up driving 2 1/2 hours in the wrong direction! Once there teams had to stop at the yield point. No one decided to use there yield.

Detour:
A detour is a choice between two tasks. Each with its own pros and cons. This weeks detour choices were Paddle and Pedel.

Padel:
Teams choosing Paddle must work with three professional rowers to take an inflatable raft on a seven-mile course down the river. The swift current would propel them forward, but navigating the rivers twists and turns could slow them down.Meredith & Gretchen, Susan & Patrick, Lynn & Alex, Uchenna & Joyce, Ron & Kelly, Rob & Amber, Ray & Deana and Debbie & Bianca rafted downriver on this leg.

Pedel:
To complete Pedal, each Team member had to choose a mountain bike and follow a seven-mile course along train tracks in Puente Viejo, Argentina. While needing to use their own power to navigate the rocky course, Teams with strong legs could finish quickly. Only Brian & Greg chose this option. Who ended up getting a flat tire and had to carry there bikes the rest of the way.
Once done teams got there next clue telling them to drive 70 miles to Camping Suizo, Argentina.

Roadblock:
A roadblock is a task that only 1 member of the team can perform.
At this roadblock one Team member had to eat a traditional Argentine meal of cow rib, pork sausage, blood sausage, cow intestine, cow udder, an entire kidney and part of a cows saliva gland. Each persons portion weighed four pounds. Once they finished the entire portion, they would receive their next clue. This ended up causing trouble for 3 of the teams who decided to quit and take a 4 hour penalty. The team members who did the roadblock are below. Uchenna and Alex were monster eaters and completed the task very quickly.

Teams are informed they must drive 8 miles to the next pitstop. Uchenna and Hoyce didn't know where it was so they stopped to get directions. They were told to follow the guy but he took them to the wrong direction which costed them some valuable time.

The teams arrived at the pitstop in this order:
1st - Lynn ans Alex
2nd - Uchenna and Joyce
3rd - Brian and Greg
4th - Ron and Kelly
5th - Rob and Amber
6th - Ray and Deana
7th - Meredith and Gretchen
8th - Susan and Patrick
9th- Debbie and Bianca

Great recap. But I have one comment. I don't think Debbie and Bianca had an idea that Rob stole their taxis, so the ladies can't be mad at Rob can they? Wink
