My favorite was the "jumping ship" twist.  Cool Cool Cool

I rather enjoyed the shock of it to the contestants.

I chose the "Battle of the Sexes", it altered the entire dynamic of the early game, and encouraged the breakdown of early alliances after the merge.

I chose battle of the sexes as well.  I thought it was the first twist introduced that genuinely caused people not to vote based on original tribal lines and to form changing alliances outside to propel them further in the game.

I loved the elders choosing the tribes in Thailand. Most people thought that Jake's Sook-Jai would destroy Jan's Chuey Gahn. That twist proved that you don't have to be a "Colby" or an "Alicia" to get far in the game. I thought Thailand had some of the best twists, despite their simplicity.

i agree with you dudeguy.  and i am actually glad that shii ann is getting another shot since she was the victim of my favorite twist -- the delayed merge in thailand.

I liked the jumping ship twist becasue it set the tone for the rest of the game. I thouroughly enjoyed watching them all in a panic (except for Sandra) trying to gather supplies at the island market & Rupert pirating the other tribe's shoes & using them to bartering for goods. A lot changes when you have nothing to start with. No luxury items that time.

I also liked the jumping ship twist best.  I liked to see how different the two tribes were even from the beginning.  It set the tone for one of my favorite seasons of Survivor.

I picked the Africa Shuffle because it was the beginning of the end for the Samburu Kiddie Alliance.  Cool Cool
That was my favorite but the coolest twist IMO was the delayed merge. For so long everyone expected a merge at 10. Everyone in history new that when it came down to 10 Survivors left they would merge...until the Thailand Survivors found out at the reward challenge. It is the coolest but it is my least favorite because as a result Shi Ann (one of my favorite survivors) got sent packing.
That's my opinion.

My favorite has to be Survivor Thailand when Jeff announced that the 2 tribes would live together and everyone thought that it was a merge.
Shii Ann used the time together to reveal all of the dirt on her original tribe.
When it came time for the IC and it was revealed that there were still 2 tribes, you could hear Shii Ann's thoughts....'D'OH!'

Africa shuffle, cuz its the first time I have seen such a twist and, I guess thats the most memorable and shocking news I ever had when it comes to twists(the others after, well, I kinda realized different twists will come in different forms so it didnt really surprised me, except the Outcast twist)...

sk, the choose a castaway thing was when Morgan got to "kidnap" Rupert and take him for the night... which made some of his tribemates at Drake wonder if he'd made an alliance with Andrew while he was there...

Delayed merge was a classic too but I had to vote for castaways coming back.

It wasnt so much she was stupid she knew she was on chopping block and she really didnt care for her tribe she thought merge was coming so she looked to make aliances but Jeff threw her a curve when merge didnt happen and it cost her

Reread my posts she was unhappy with her tribe she felt like an outcast and that she needed this NEW aliance to help move her through the game. Shi Ann made same assumption all of them did that they had merged but they had not. Shi Ann was trying to play ther game but the twist costs her. She would have probably been booted anyhow but her alliance aced it.

Hasn't Shii-Ann made almost the same remark this time about being an outcast, or am I thinking of the past Survivor show she was on?

P.S.  We've enjoyed each and every one.  As fotr myself, I never even think of what they might do next, just enjoy the moment of the show.  Cool

You know - so do I.  This year I've sorta messed around reading spoilers - but that about as far as I'll go.

In fact, I used to tape every single show, so I could go back to look at something the "spoilers" were talking about.  I taped too, because I was obsessed with Survivor.  I still am, but in a different way.....way different.   Wink

Ep 4, Marquesas. "After receiving tree mail, the two tribes met host Jeff Probst at what they thought would be their next Reward Challenge. However, they soon discovered that their lives were about to be turned upside down. Jeff instructed them to each stand on one of 13 wooden discs placed randomly in front of them. He then began the Survivor Switch. "
I did a little research.  Involved Boston Rob and Kathy...
