Survivor Afflicts Me...

Last night, I dreamed I was on a new season of Survivor.  The beach was huge and wide.  Richard was on my team (clothed) and my biggest worry was how to get large pieces of aluminum foil (I had somehow salvaged) to stick together so that we could use it for a roof over our shelter.  Really, this dilemna just consumed me.  Where would I find tape?  How would I get the pieces of foil to form a water-proof barrier?  Would Richard vote me out at Tribal Council?

I think your best bet would be to try & fold the edges of the foil together & then accordian fold them in a downward slope a bit to encourage runoff!

The other night I had the oddest dream that was a combination of both "Survivor" and "Lord of the Flies."  I guess it serves me right for reading "LOTF" after Survivor and before bed, right!   Wink

I have Survivor type dreams but it always involves David and I alone on an island and I cant repeat what happens here  Wink

You know, nons55, I've pondered the idea of a children's Survivor season but have always come to the conclusion that it would turn out like "Lord of the Flies."  Have you ever seen that episode of "The Simpsons" where all the kids from the school bus get stranded on a deserted island and they blame Milhaus for eating all the remaining snacks?

I am pretty sure disney or somebody does a childrens "survivor" type of show.

Well, heaven forbid that my kids end up on a Survivor show.  They'd probably end up killing each other...having no one to whom they could tattle on each other.  Roll Eyes

Endurance (11:30am ET/9:30am PT)
 
No mall? No TV? No video games? No way! On Endurance, 20 kids are brought to a remote island and are challenged in matches of skill, speed, strength and smarts. Every other week, the weakest team is eliminated until one team reigns supreme! Hosted by J.D. Roth (Moolah Beach).
 
I've seen bits and pieces over time and I think it's quite good.   It comes on here at 7:30AM (Central) on Sunday.
