I was really surprised at the language Jamie used to describe Rafe's relationship with Steph on Survivor Live. He said Rafe was Steph's lap dog & said it was disgusting or something like that. I really don't get that from watching the show though. Anyway, who needs to be a lap dog if you keep winning immunity like Rafe does? Steph might want to consider reversing the dynamics of that relationship.

Insane4Survivor just called me. She's at LAX waiting to board a plane and is sure that she has spotted Rafe.  No idea why he would be in LA but we'll know soon if it's really him cause she's going to approach him.    Cheesy

Well here I am in Nashville savoring my encounter in Los Angeles. I flew from Sacremento to Nashville for a company meeting and had a 1 1/2 hour layover in LAX. Imagine my surprised when I went to my gate and saw Rafe sitting right there reading a magazine! I was so shocked that I went to get a cup of coffee and compose myself. I called Lakelady to find out where Rafe was from so I could figure out if it was really him.
 
Well, I finally screwed up enough courage and went back. I said "Excuse me but is your name Rafe?" He put down his magazine, flashed me his beautiful smile and said "yes I am" So I introduced myself and ended up talking with him for about 20 or 30 minutes before he had to catch his flight. He was on his way back east to spend the holidays with his family and unfortuately he was not on my flight.  
 
Let me say that he is very sweet, not a bad word about anyone. I mentioned FN to him and hope that he stops by here to check out our community. He lost about 35 lbs. while on Survivor and is still battling the parasites that he picked up while there. One thing that I didn't know it that he is a sceenwriter. I assume that he will make his home in LA to pursue his chosen field.  
 
He really seems to be an amazing man and I really hope to see him again in Cocoa Beach this summer.
 
Let me say that this is my very first unplanned sighting and Oh My Gawd was I thrilled to no end!

I read an interview where Rafe said he was going to use the money he made on Survivor to move out to LA with his boyfriend, in an attempt to pursue his dream of becoming a screnwritter, so that's probably why you saw him there. I wish him the best of luck.
