Nike’s ubiquitous Air Max 90 has been reinvented as a golf shoe, changed under the influence of professional golfer Rory McIlroy. A fan of the shoe off the course, the silhouette finds new life as the Nike Air Zoom 90 IT, complete with a custom Zoom Air sole for Adidas Superstar Womens Gold lightweight cushioning, a one-piece, waterproof upper with bootie construction, and an icy rubber outsole with Nike Integrated Traction, which provides the grip of a classic golf shoe in an innovative spike design.
Nike is about to release a new colorway for its Air Zoom 90 IT silhouette, a golf-friendly version of the iconic Air Max 90.
The Air Zoom 90 IT takes the classic stylings of the Air Max and combines them with the latest golfing footwear technology to provide style and stability – both on and off the course.
A favorite Nike Air Max 2016 Heren of pro-golfer Rory McIlroy, the shoe takes features a weatherproof construction to keep feet dry, and a one-piece inner sleeve for a comfortable, sock-like fit. The Ariaprene upper with seamless overlays keeps the air flowing, and a multi-port lace system allows for a secure and locked-down feel. A forefoot Adidas NMD Damen unit provides responsive, low-profile cushioning for optimum performance through 18 holes, while the Integrated Traction rubber outsole allows maximum grip and ground feel.
What started with the Nike Air Max Royal and the Air Safari Nike Cortez Donna Royal has now been applied to the Air Max 90 as well. We present the brand new NikeLab Air Max 90 Royal, which is without any doubt the most premium and luxurious version of the iconic runner to date. The sneaker has been given a premium seamless leather upper, with iconic accents set in vegetable-tanned Asics Gel Lyte 3 Femme Beige leather on the midsole, as well as the lining. The outcome is a rather unique looking, almost handcrafted looking version of the Air Max 90.
After getting a first look at the Air Max 90 Flyknit over the summer, NikeLab has just released two new colorways of the revamped Air Max model.
Optioned in a Adidas Superstar Damen Gold pair of tonal iterations, the Air Max 90 Flyknit of course boasts Flyknit construction on the upper, with suede accents on the blue pair and leather detail on the black edition. Both still feature the signature Max Air unit in the heel Adidas ZX Flux Dames Roze and are accompanied with matching laces.
