Nike’s new Air Huarache Ultra preserves the original’s revolutionary DNA while adopting more modern-day features. Embracing Nike Air Max Command Dames its forerunner’s tagline that “less is more,” the Ultra retains elements iconic of the 1991 Huarache, including logo placement, bootie construction, heel stabilizer and dotted heel, while focusing on next-generation technology.
A Flywire cord lacing system envelops the upper, offering lock-down support and unprecedented fit. The shoe’s classic dotted pattern, which had previously only appeared on the heel, now Adidas Superstar Mujer covers the entirety of Adidas ZX Flux Damen Blumen the midsole unit. Now, only the tip and heel of the outsole are rubber, in contrast to the original.
Nike’s spring/summer-ready Air Huarache Ultra BR will soon be arriving in a new military green colorway. The monochromatic makeup notes construction from mesh and neoprene materials, then featuring a slip-on fit. The signature Huarache cage is of course present, while tonal laces accompany to complete the Swoosh Nike Roshe Run Dames delivery.
After recently Nike Roshe Run Donna Grigie releasing the Air Huarache Run Ultra BR in “Midnight Navy” and “Military Green,” the Swoosh is back with another tonal take on the revamped sneaker. The all-black pairs boasts a breathable mesh upper with a taped toe box and Nike Air branding featured on the heel. Matching black laces then accompany to complete the monochromatic makeup.

Currently one of the Swoosh’s most popular silhouettes, the bulky runner features all the hallmarks of the original, including construction from mesh and neoprene materials, alongside a slip-on fit. The classic Huarache cage and tonal laces complete the no-fuss design.
Nike delivers a “Bleached Lilac” iteration of the Air Huarache Ultra, the latest in a string of women’s-only releases. The colorway Nike Air Max Command Damen appears atop a one-piece Asics Gel Lyte 3 Donna woven upper, which includes internal Flywire technology for extra support. Violet accent colors shroud a portion of the outsole, as well as the rear heel strap.
The Nike WMNS Air Huarache Ultra “Bleached Lilac” is now available at select stockists worldwide, including Foot District.
