ANKARA, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Turkish police found a bomb-laden car parked near a government office in the Hani district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Thursday night, Dogan News Agency reported Friday.
The bomb disposal experts defused the explosives inside the car that was later taken to a police station.
The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK) on Thursday claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack in Turkey's capital Ankara that killed 37 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Diyarbakir governor's office approved a Nevruz celebration in the city, while festivities planned in other provinces in the country's eastern and southeastern were banned due to security reasons.
