I thought that the guys were finally stepping up their game last week, but they slid down 2 storeys this week. And it's the week where the final 12 are revealed. Disappointing.

completely agree the final 12 is here and this is what they do? as the judges said there are 4 maybe who deserve to be there...should they have viewers just vote on the 'best 24' and not break it down by sex anymore? the girls are just so much stronger. could you imagine if a boy wins at this point i just don't see it

I have not watched AI since the top 24 round started (3 times a week, no time to watch). Hopefully I will start watching from this week onwards.

That's exactly what I think too, Rhune. He has a nice voice but he is just to quiet, boring, and does all kinds of old unappealing music.

Nice tone, I don't deny. Sanjaya has sort of always been on the brink of elimination. Yet each week he gets another chance, he doesn't even attempt to step up his game. He does the same kinda slow, old, boring songs every week. It's like he's saying, "vote me out, I don't wanna stay on the show anymore." He's been given many chances, but he doesn't cherish them. It's time for him to try something new this week.

I think he's just young and overwhelmed by the situation and he has this frightened look about him...he just wasn't ready for this.  I don't think he's deliberately ungrateful, I think he's a deer staring at the big bright headlights, and will probably kick himself when he finally leaves the show for not having said thank you when he had the chance.
