I'll be gone fron the 27th to the 5th. My step-brother is getting married and it's a great opportunity for all the family to be together and meet the new baby since most of them haven't gotten the chance yet.

have an amazing time rhune and fam! where are you headed off to lovie? i will be performing another wedding in november ~ last summer was my cousin svea and this time it's her brother ryan....his bride is my grade 8/9 math teacher's daughter. i am terribly excited already. i loved my teacher and am proud to be performing her daughter's wedding!

see gabby ~ there are students who love their math teachers years and years later!

Rhune, have a great vacation. I love the northen part of Idaho, and Spokane is a nice town.

Have you ever been to Lewiston? If not, you're in for a treat ... that part of the country is BEAUTIFUL! (Idaho happens to be one of the 4 states I've lived in ... I actually graduated from Coeur 'd Alene High School, which isn't too far from Lewiston ...)

Actuaally, I grew up there - in Seattle until I was 10 and then in Lewiston/Clarkston until I was 18. I lived in Spokane at one point too, and have been to Coeur d' Alene many times. I love the Coldwater Creek stuff you can get there. Grin

My folks live in Idaho Falls, and both of my older brothers went to UofI in Moscow. (which probably explains why the Minnesota Vikings were my favorite pro football team as a lad... Wink

I think I will add that little spot to my list of places to visit in the United States. I need to look at a map to see if Idaho is anywhere near Colorado (sorry for my ignorance). Hoping to get another road trip going into the United States towards Colorado this time to visit my relatives there.

Then of course there is that whole trip from San Francisco to Vancouver. I would love to make time for the Pacific Northwest.

Well my relatives from England are heading towards the west right now. They are in Calgary and heading to Vancouver via Banff and Jasper and a lovely train ride through the Rockies and British Columbia. We had a good visit with them. Too bad they couldn't have brought little "no-no" to see his Auntie K-A in the east end of Vancouver.

I had a bad tooth out last Monday and have been laid low by it. Nasty experience. On the mend now, off the meds, brain working again (as much as it ever did Wink

) and planning a real trip. I'll be in NYC from the 19th to the 23rd, hope the weather's nice. Glad to hear everyone else had nice trips and visits.

Well you've put my one tooth ow in perspective for me! Part of my problem was not going regularly too, but I don't think anything could have saved that damn tooth. It's been a problem for a long time, I just kept on trying to save it. Should have pulled it out in the first place I guess before it got so bad.
