The Start of my Week

The air conditioning in our building broke and we are waiting for a part from Tennessee.  I suspect that could be a while.  Sigh.
 
Then someone broke into our floor.  Good news is that although there was an attempt on one of my offices it was unsuccessful.  Bad news everyone is suspecting everyone else even though in addition to the 10th floor (where I have my offices) there were breakins on the 5th and the 7th floor.s  Cops all over the place when I arrived.

Breakins?  Glad they didn't suceed.   :rifle:
 
Hopefully it won't be too long for the part to arrive, a stuffy office building is not a pleasant place to work.

Eastend girl - keep sending those thoughts.  It's a long way over those prairies and through these heat and smog alerts.  Sigh.
 
The rumour is that the part has arrived.  At least that was what the fedex guy said when he stopped by with a package this morning.  Gee he knows more than I do!
 
But the bad news is that I have had to tell Tiger Lily she can have the rest of the day off.  It's the worst day so far for heat and the Air Con is still not working.  No windows to open.  Very oppressive.  
 
Well it's keeping the breakins down to a minimum at least  :tup:
 
I will be leaving at 3 PM today to pick up Wednesday for a play date.  So that will help a bit.

The end of my week

The part arrived on Wednesday and was installed that morning allegedly.  However there was no cool air starting to come in until late that afternoon.  
 
The heat and humidity and smog were unbearble still on Thursday outside but at least the building was starting to cool down.  
 
This morning it is finally pleasant in the office but then again it's more pleasant outside after a decent rain.  I would say that this building's air con system is not very effective at the best of times.
 
thanks for asking and yes things are back to normal in the office weather-wise.  Yesterday the weather changes and poor airquality caused considerable headaches and migraines in my family and also on the floor.  
 
Productivity this week has been at an all time low  I would say.
