Wow today was a very thrilling day for me! I ran a 400 meter sprint and a 800 meter distance at a track meet with my team, and I managed to beat half the runners in both events! If anyone has ever run track or played any kind of intense sport, you know what it feels like. I want to be in great shape someday like my Survivor role model, Stephenie!

Good for you Superchic!  I ran the 400, 800 and 1500 in school as well.  I never came first but did always come in second.  That was good enough for me.  And I aslo played soccer, and I was pretty good at it too I must add.

Wow! You must have had some pretty solid endurance.....  
I'm only in the 8th grade and it's my first year, so I've got lots of time to get my endurance up.

Thats very good.  Im college I ran a mile and a half in just under 10 mins.  
 
Superchick, I did have good endurance for a few years then I took up the habit of smoking and then I didnt care much for sports after that, never did much of any sports after grade 10.  Was shock to the system when I had to run in College, but I did ok.  Now I go to the gym a few times a week.  Wish I could get back my figure that I had in College.  Im lacking some serious discipline.

I think I need to get better muscle tone. I'm pretty thin for close to 5'7" and I'm narrow-shouldered, so I think that might interfere with my endurance.
