Thoughts and Prayers needed

hi Guys, I hate to ask but..
 
about 2 weeks ago my cousin was admitted to this hospital with severe jaundice.  He's an alcoholic and has finally eaten through all but a bit of his liver.  They thought he was going to pull through this time, they had a tube in his chest pulling liquid out.  
 
But we just found out yesterday that due to various chemical imbalances that can't be fixed, he probably only has 3-5 days to live.  He's only 36 years old.   I can't pull out too many sympathy cards, as he wasn't married and had no children, but he's still my cousin.
 
I know the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself, so if youcould just send some good and happy thoughts his way, than maybe that could buy him the extra time to heal himself.
 
He's not in a coma.  He has a wonderful appetite.  He can walk around (tried to walk right to the elevator yesterday!)  He just needs time to heal himself.
 
Sorry for the long post. I am just really upset.  So any thoughts and prayers would be welcome and appreciated

Angel, my prayers are certainly w/ you and your family.  As long as there is a part (however small) of the liver viable, he may have a chance.  I will keep a good thought for his recovery.

Thank you so much everyone, if nothing else, thoughts and prayers will ease his transition from this life to the next.
 
Nothing has changed as of this morning.  They took him home today.  They want him to be comfortable.  He had a cheesesteak and fries for lunch,  I just can't believe someone can be eating a cheesesteak one day and be gone the next, (barring an accident)

My thoughts are with you and your family.  I hope his body is able to recover and that once he's able, he takes steps to recover from whatever caused him to drink so much in the first place, so that it doesn't happen again to him.

Sending prayers too for healing of the body and then the spirit.  I pray that he will recover and be stronger.

I just thought i would let you guys know that my cousin passed away about a half an hour ago.  I jsut want to thank you all for your prayers.  I know they helped him ease from this world to the next.  Please if you can, pray for my family that they are able to be strong though this.  Thank you.
